Great video as always Shay! I think I had the same experience with you. I like anime growing up but my parents saw i as cartoons. It wasn’t until later I decided to embrace it. I guess I had to tell them that I love anime to give them a straight answer.
My family didn’t really get it when I first started watching anime (as said before, “cartoons”), and they still don’t really get it now. But I don’t get their hobbies either, so it all balances out. And by now, my parents see my collecting penguin merchandise or my hat collection weirder than my anime and manga. XD
