So there are several different US companies that license anime. But which one is your favorite?
For me my favorites have always been Funimation
or Viz!
Those have always been my go to because they have licensed many of my favorite anime’s such as Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, Ouran High School Host club and many more!

Probably Funimation for US Companies. Hanabee for Australia.
Yeah Funimation seems to be an iconic company for many in the US but I haven’t heard of Hanabee before.
Hanabee releases dubs and subs in Australia that we would otherwise never see due to liscencing restrictions. Kind of why I like them. However, there is still far too much anime that never reaches Australia. Or, doesn’t reach Australia in a timely manner.

I have two favorites and they are what you mentioned :p. I like FUNimation because I enjoy the anime they do like Dragonball Z and One Piece and they have great cast of actors. I also Viz too because of Naruto, Bleach, and Inuyasha. They do great on anime.
Yeah I feel like Funimation and Viz have a majority of the US anime market.
They are good companies. I know that Aniplex is another good choice but I feel like their anime are quite expensive.
I don’t think I’ve bought an anime by Aniplex but I have watched quite a few of them online.
Same here, I prefer online and I know Crunchyroll has some anime from Aniplex that are free to watch in English and Japanese. The only anime I bought from them was Sword Art Online – Extra Edition for DVD. At Rightstuff, the DVD costs 29.95.
That actually isn’t too bad for a DVD.
Yeah. I know that Sentai Filmworks have some expensive DVDs but they usually sell like half of an anime in a collection set.

I know right. For example:
You can buy the first half of Akame ga Kill for $45 and it includes episodes 1-12. The second half is worth $38.99. These sets are even for standard DVDs too. It will cost a lot if you want to buy both sets together.

That’s awesome. I wish I had more money so I can spend on those. The Collector Editions of Akame Ga Kill usually have postcards but set 2 has CDs. Speaking of editions, check out this link. This is Sailor Moon the Dark Kingdom Arc LE set 1.
