Everyone talks about what anime’s need a sequel but I’ve always wondered about what anime’s should have a prequel.
I think having a prequel to a few anime’s would definitely shine light on a few things that may not be understood during the series or even give greater insight into a few of the characters in the series.
So what anime would you like to have a prequel? I would love to know what your opinion is on this so comment down below with a few of your idea’s.

First one that comes to mind is Deadman Wonderland. They talk about some of the deadmen’s past in little detail. Might be cool to see how their lives before they got their powers and how they ended up in Tamaki’s wonderland.
That would be pretty awesome! I need to rewatch Deadman Wonderland since I didn’t really completely finish it.
Personally, I would like a prequel of Bleach. I know that in the anime, we got some background story on the characters especially in the Soul Society but I want to know how Ichigo got tough after the incident to his mother. If it’s possible, maybe a prequel that talks about Captain Yamamoto during the 1,000 Year Blood War with the Quincy’s.
That would be really cool to see!
Going on to the topic of prequels, how about one about Inuyasha. Maybe look into the eyes of Inuyasha’s father or even Kagome’s father and he meet the mom.
Omg that would be awesome! I know they kind of did a prequel with one of the Inuyasha movies. I think it was the 3rd one.
Yeah on the 3rd movie, we saw Inuyasha’s dad and I thought that was new. I am more curious about Kagome’s family. I don’t remember them talking about the dad/husband.

I don’t recall the series ever mentioning the father. I guess it doesn’t matter now that the show is over and Kagome’s family is only involved if she returns back to her time.
That is true but it would be cool if the show decided to do that
I would be impressed actually. It would be cute to see a story on Kagome’s mother when she was young and met the husband.

Honestly, I don’t really know. I bet I’ve said “There needs to be another series,” to about every anime I’ve watched, so it’s hard to keep track of which ones I actually want a prequel to, lol.

Cant think of one, because I mainly want sequels, but I still welcome prequels, if they are good.
Yeah I thought thinking of prequels would be a change to the sequel question.

Dragon Ball GT if I’m being slick. I want to see the adventures that happened after Z, but before the GT days :p That probably doesn’t really count though so for a serious prequel I’d be on board with one for Beet The Vandel Buster so we can see how the demons really took over. I like to think that there were many heroes back in the day so they should have put up a fight. Accel World would be great as well so we could see a bloodlusted Kuroyukihime!
