anime fandom is too vast to compare to the starwars fandom (you might as well call starwas the sci fi fandom).
O-O star wars fans and star treck exist with in the sci fi fandom however, just because they like the genre doesn’t mean they will get along.
So very very true. Also I didn’t think about it that way.
When I look at comic book movie fans to actual comic book readers there is still a big divide.
So very true.
I’d like to believe that would happen but I don’t think it will any time soon. Especially when they tried to make live action anime movies and it ended up failing miserably (i.e. The Last Airbender and DB Evolution). Also, to the people who think anime refers to only kid shows go ahead and watch “High School of the Dead”, “Attack On Titan”, and “Black Lagoon.” Then come back and tell me anime is just for kids lol.
Lol so true not all anime’s are for kids. But I also agree that the main reason why is because of the misconception that anime has.
anime might be seen as kids stuff in the USA however, in the UK anime is seen as porn thanks to anime called “rise of the overfiend” (Urotsukidōji).
