Alright so just like I promised I went and watched part 2 of the Attack On Titan Live Action movie. Check out my YouTube video with my review also here:
But let’s get on with the review!
So let me just say that the whomever decided on the route they decided to take in this movie definitely fell off a cliff at some point. That is because they decided to make up their own ending which is perfectly fine but what they decided to come up with just did not make sense and completely took away from the original story line.
There were too many moments that didn’t make sense. Plus like I mentioned before they tried to put wayyyy to much romance into the live action.
The other thing that bothered me was the sub characters in the show since some were likable but many of them were just kind of mean or lame. I also could tell which ones were from the actual anime or were just made up for the live action. Also to top it off there is no Annie in this live action which totally sucks because I was waiting on see Annie and the female Titan.
Overall it just got really weird to watch with the different elements that were thrown in. To me they could have followed the story line better and even if they did come up with their own ending it definitely could have been better. So that is my review of the Attack On Titan live action part 2.
Comment down below on what you thought of part 2 of this movie of you saw it. If you didn’t see it then let me know of you will or why you won’t. I can’t wait to ready your comments.
~Anime Reviewer Girl!
Looking forward to seeing it someday, as I did like the anime a lot.
Even if it does not live up to my expectations, It would probably still be better than 99.999% of Hollywood.
So true. But let me know how you like it once you watch it.
Well I probably won’t watch it then. Sounds a lot like what they did with the live action movie for Avatar the Last Airbender. I don’t need another live action travesty in my life lol.
Yeah it definitely wasn’t that good.
I am curious about this movie but this is something I will unlikely watch based on this review. I would rather watch the Rurouni Kenshin live-action or Death Note films. Nice review though ^^
Yeah I still want to watch the Rurouni Kenshin live action too. That does look pretty good.
Yeah it looks good. Too bad it doesn’t go all the way to the Jinchu Arc 😦
Awwwww!!!
Too bad the only way to see the Jinchu Arc is either read the manga or watch the OVA Reflection. I reviewed Reflection and it is not that good in my opinion and it just jumps into the final battle of the arc.
Yeah that is true. I saw Reflection and it does do that.
If only the anime continued on a little bit longer for the Jinchu Arc. I guess I will have to read the manga
See? That’s the problem with movies based on things! They change it and butcher it up until it’s some horribly mutated version of the original.
Yup!
