Everyone of course wants to have that job where they are happy to go to work everyday or they have that job where it centers around their hobby or passion. So since many of us look at anime or manga as our hobby or passion what if anime could be your job?
I know that there are many different jobs within that particular field so which one would you love to do the most?
For me I would have to say either voice actor for anime or a script writer for anime. I like the idea of being a voice actor
because every time I hear an anime and hear the voices it makes me wonder how the actor came up with that voice, where they places that voice within their throat, and also how difficult is that voice to maintain. It’s definitely an art form that I love and would love to explore more.
The second one I’m interested in is a script writer
and I just love the idea of being that puppet master and figuring out what should be said and why. Seeing if a joke transfers over well or just being able to figure out how a specific character with a specific personality would say a line or how they would say it.

If I was good at acting, I would be a voice actor. But, since I’m not, I think I’d like to be a character designer.
That sounds really neat.
I think for me I would really be interested in being part of the designs for an anime or manga. It cause I used to draw a lot when I was a kid and I still enjoy that. I would also be interested in being part of the story writing process of the anime because sometimes I have a big imagination:D Too bad I can’t be a voice acting because I have a manly voice. It’s not pitchy like a lot of the anime characters.
I’m sure your voice would fit in somewhere. But still being apart of the designs sounds like fun too. I would do that but I don’t draw very well.
A writer I guess. I can’t draw so being an artist is out. Some people say I have a nice voice, but I’m not good at expressing emotions so I could never be an actor.
Yeah a being the writer in show sounds awesome since its like your the puppet master in the show.
What an interesting question! For me, a voice actor, as this past weekend I got to meet Micah Solusod, Greg Aryes, and Matthew Mercer in the flesh and they are all just such cool people. I guess not everyone’s like that, but they were very influential and had such cool voices 🙂 Truly great role models!
Greg Ayers is awesome! He is definitely a good voice actor! Being a voice actor looks so awesome since well even though it’s work it’s still looks like a lot of fun. Plus it’s such an interesting craft.
