Like many others I watched Dragon Ball Z as a kid and while his father has been introduced his mother has not. It even left me wondering if Goku even had a mother.
Well he does and Dragon Ball creator revealed who she was in the March 2024 issue of Saikyo Jump. Now from what I read this is ahead of schedule since she is set to appear in the release of his volume one collection of works which is set to be released in April.
Goku’s mother name is Gine and she was on Bardock’s squad. They end up having an unconventional relationship when Bardock’s protects her on the battle field. Gine’s personality is said to actually be gentle which is weird considering that she is a Saiyan. But I can’t wait to see what she looks like and I’m hoping that since she is now revealed that there will be some sort on anime made from it. I remember that news. I actually seen her in the Jaco manga. After all these years, we finally see Goku and Raditz mom.
