So once again it is Wednesday and I have a new anime review for everyone today. The anime that I’m reviewing is actually an anime movie and it’s the movie Wolf Children. Also check out my YouTube video where I review this movie as well:
So here is a synopsis of Wolf Children: “Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki is about a young woman named Hana who falls in love with her mysterious college classmate who is actually a wolf man. The couple produce two children who also possess their father’s lineage; the big sister Yuki, who was born on a snowy day, and the little brother, Ame, who was born on a rainy day.
The wolf man suddenly dies one day, leaving Hana to raise the two wolf children herself and struggle to keep their secret. But when the family is threatened by eviction, child services, and neighbors annoyed by Ame’s constant crying (and often both Wolf Children’s howling, which the landlady mistakes for pets), Hana decides to move out to the secluded country side where her kids can roam free.”
So I can honestly say that I throughly enjoyed this movie since it was interesting to see two siblings with the same lineage go their separate ways or down their own paths. Also it was interesting to see each child’s personality change over the course of the movie.
The oldest child Yuki
starts off as a very rambunctious child that is very confident and brave. But once Yuki starts going to school and noticing that she is different from classmates especially when it comes to her interests she decides to change. This isn’t to say that she isn’t confident anymore but it was interesting to see how Yuki changed how she was to be liked by her classmates.
Now when it comes to Ame
the youngest he started off very different from his sister. He was very shy and timid. He also didn’t like being away from his mother too often and didn’t have a lot of confidence. It was until one day when he tried to kill a bird while as a wolf that it all changed. Ame became more confident and didn’t let when he started going to school let others change him.
Now Yuki and Ame as they started to grow older both started to accept themselves differently and also different part of themselves. Yuki seemed to have favorited her human side more than her wolf side. But Ame favored his wolf side more than his human side. Ame was definitely the child that wanted to learn more about what it takes to be a wolf.
When it comes to their mother Hana
though I definitely have to give her some respect since after losing the love of her life she had to figure out how to raise two children that were so different from others. She had to learn how to do it on her own and figure out along the way of she was doing it correctly.
As for the art style of the movie I actually enjoyed it. It was very similar to Summer Wars and also to the Digimon Movie that came out years before. I know that others didn’t like it a lot but I did since it wasn’t the first time that I saw this art style.
But the anime was actually recommended to me on Twitter by Nyshing (@ThePrimeAbyss). Also if you would like to recommend me anime to watch don’t hesitate to do so.
Anyways overall I give this anime a 10/10. If you’ve seen this anime before did you enjoy it? If you haven’t then will you now see it? I can’t wait to read your comments!

So here is an anime that I haven’t seen in a while but it’s still one that I throughly enjoyed. Also check out my YouTube video where I have my review on this anime as well here:
But here is the synopsis of the show:
“During the early 1930s in Chicago, the transcontinental train, Flying Pussyfoot, is starting its legendary journey that will leave a trail of blood all over the country. At the same time in New York, the ambitious scientist Szilard and his unwilling aide Ennis are looking for missing bottles of the immortality elixir. In addition, a war between the mafia groups is getting worse. On board the Advena Avis, in 1711, alchemists are about to learn the price of immortality.
Based on the award-winning light novels of the same name, Baccano! follows several events that initially seem unrelated, both in time and place, but are part of a much bigger story—one of alchemy, survival and immortality. Merging these events together are the kindhearted would-be thieves, Isaac and Miria, connecting various people, all of them with their own hidden ambitions and agendas, and creating lifelong bonds and consequences for everyone involved.”
So I’m not going to lie at first when I start watching this series I did get a bit confused since there are so many different scenes and characters involved. But it was a very interesting take on a show. Ultimately all the characters come together for the same ultimate reason.
The characters that I definitely enjoyed the most was Issac and Miria. They were really funny and probably the worst thieves that I have seen but that is what made them so great.
Also I recommend watching Baccano dubbed and it was dubbed by Funimation. The reason why I recommend that is because there are parts in the series where it takes place in 1930’s New York so hearing those accents and lingo is amazing and really brought it to life.
So overall I gave this show an 8/10 mostly because I did get so confused at the beginning with all the different characters and scenes. But if you haven’t seen this show yet you should definitely check it out. If you have then comment down below on what you thought of it. Can’t wait to read your comments!

Alright so just like I promised I went and watched part 2 of the Attack On Titan Live Action movie. Check out my YouTube video with my review also here:
But let’s get on with the review!
So let me just say that the whomever decided on the route they decided to take in this movie definitely fell off a cliff at some point. That is because they decided to make up their own ending which is perfectly fine but what they decided to come up with just did not make sense and completely took away from the original story line.
There were too many moments that didn’t make sense. Plus like I mentioned before they tried to put wayyyy to much romance into the live action.
The other thing that bothered me was the sub characters in the show since some were likable but many of them were just kind of mean or lame. I also could tell which ones were from the actual anime or were just made up for the live action. Also to top it off there is no Annie in this live action which totally sucks because I was waiting on see Annie and the female Titan.
Overall it just got really weird to watch with the different elements that were thrown in. To me they could have followed the story line better and even if they did come up with their own ending it definitely could have been better. So that is my review of the Attack On Titan live action part 2.
Comment down below on what you thought of part 2 of this movie of you saw it. If you didn’t see it then let me know of you will or why you won’t. I can’t wait to ready your comments.

Alright so while I was sick with a cold I was able to watch a little anime so I decided to watch Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. It was actually a really good anime. If you like check out my YouTube video of this review here:
But here is the synopsis of the show:
“The premise of the project is the 70% possibility that a magnitude 7.0 earthquake will occur in Tokyo in the next 30 years. The anime depicts what would happen if an 8.0 earthquake took place.
The story centers on Mirai, a middle school freshman girl who goes to Tokyo’s artificial Odaiba Island for a robot exhibition with her brother Yuuki at the start of summer vacation. A powerful tremor emanates from an ocean trench, the famed Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge crumble and fall, and the landscape of Tokyo changes in an instant. With the help of a motorcycle delivery woman named Mari who they meet on Odaiba, Mirai and Yuuki strive to head back to their Setagaya home in western Tokyo.”
So at first when I started watching this show I wasn’t a huge fan of the main character Mirai
but after putting myself in her shoes I didn’t mind her so much. Mirai actually starts off at the beginning series and throughout a good portion of it like your typical teenager who is always annoyed, can’t stand her parents or sibling, and wants to be left alone. But after the earthquake and while trying to navigate her way home with Yuuki (her younger brother) and Mari (the delivery lady they meet along the way) she starts to become more grateful for her parents and starts to definitely turn that attitude around. Overall she actually had the biggest character development during the series.
Yuuki
kind of stayed the same during most of the series but he did have those moments where he was protective of his sister. He also was the character always trying to make someone laugh and feel good. There was only once during the series that he actually got upset which was with an argument with his sister but even that didn’t last long.
Mari
was definitely the protector of the two siblings while trying to make their way back home. She made sure they were safe and actually treated them like her own children. You saw her during the beginning of the series in passing and during one interaction with Mirai and Yuuki but it wasn’t until the earthquake that she became a more pivotal character.
As far as music is concerned the opening theme song didn’t really appeal to me a lot but the ending song definitely did. Especially during the sad parts of the show is when it really hit home.
Now this show is definitely a tear jerker so you have been warned. Definitely keep tissues near by when watching this. So don’t be putting on makeup while watching the ending of this series.
Overall though this show really got me think on what I would do if I was in this same situation and as someone who live in “the earthquake state” this can definitely become real for me. But I give this anime a 9/10. This show had the elements that I like in a good tear jerker anime.
If you haven’t seen this show then definitely check it out. It’s available on Hulu and it’s only 11 episodes so you can get through this fairly quickly. If you have seen it let me know what you thought of this show. I can’t wait to read your comments!

Alright so today I’m reviewing the anime Rurouni Kenshin! Omg this show was really good and even though I watched this awhile back I still watch it over and over again.
Oh and I also made a YouTube video of my review as well so check that out here
But anyway here is the synopsis:
“Himura Kenshin is a vagabond with a dark past and sunny disposition. Not a ronin but a rurouni, he was never a samurai, but an assassin of utmost skill in the Meiji restoration, who in the turning point of the war simply walked away. His travels lead him to Tokyo in the 11th year of the Meiji era, where he befriends a female Kendo master, a former thief, a brawler and a doctor all with their own secrets. Together they fight off the enemies surfacing from the dark past that Kenshin cannot escape. ”
This anime overall was a joy to watch and honestly made me want to pick up a samurai sword even though I would probably hurt myself in the process.
Rurouni Kenshin also kind of has a little bit of something for everyone. It has some romance in it and while it’s not blatantly obvious there is always a character that is pointing it out.
The art style is a little older looking since this anime did come out in the late 90’s I believe so it may take some getting used to.
As for the opening and ending songs well I’ll be honest I didn’t enjoy them but hey that’s just me.
So definitely check out Rurouni Kenshin if you haven’t already. If you have seen comment down below and tell me what you thought of it.

So I went and saw the Attack On Titan live action movie and I’m not going to lie I definitely didn’t like it. They definitely changed for me the plot of the show in general, the characters personalities, & also left out a fan favorite character.
Also check out my YouTube video video on the movie as well.
So the one thing that I definitely noticed is that they tried to bring more romance into the show. They definitely wanted to make it seem like there was a romance going on between Mikasa and Eren. It’s like in some ways the Titans was just a sub plot around the romance and tension between Mikasa & Eren.
Also Eren and Mikasa’s personalities were very different then how they were in the anime. Eren in the movie very much tried to act like the hero the entire time and like he was the protector but in reality the one protecting him and trying to watch over him was Mikasa. Eren wanted to act like he was all tough when in reality he wasn’t but everyone knew that he could be.
Mikasa also very much came off in the beginning of the 1st movie like the girl that needed to be protected.
She didn’t appear strong until you saw her in the military.
Now for the character that everyone knows and loves which is Levi. Well he is not in the movie. I’m not going to lie when I found this out I was shocked. Levi may not be my favorite character but even I know that here are many people who love Levi so to me it’s stupid why they wouldn’t include him in the movie.
The romance scenes in the movie also did not come off well. They were very very awkward. The romance scenes to be honest for me took away from the film and didn’t add to the story line in any way.
Overall though I did not enjoy the movie but I do plan to watch Part 2 just to see how the movie ends so look out for a part 2 of this review. Comment down below on whether or not you will see the live action Attack On Titan or if you have seen it let me know what you thought of it.

So I finally got a chance to watch Date A Live and I did enjoy it.
Here is my YouTube video of my Date A Live review
but you can keep reading below for my written review!
There were definitely moments when I got bored with the show. But they didn’t out weigh the good. Here is a synopsis of the show:
“Itsuka Shido is a high school boy. On the last day of the spring holidays, an explosion destroys the town and a girl in armor appears in front of him. Shido’s step-sister, Kotori, tells him that the girl is called “Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit”, which causes a timespace quake. Kotori disclosed that she is the commander of the anti-spirit organization Ratatosk and orders him to go out on a date with the spirit girl. Kotori says, “I don’t ask you to beat the spirit. Just let her fall in love with you and save the world.”
At first when I started watching the show I did get pretty confused since I wasn’t for sure where it was going but then once it hit like mid way I got very into it and realized how funny this show was. The hilarious parts of the show were a lot of times from the side characters like Shido’s friend who was quite funny whenever he was around.
Now this is a harem show so if your not one for harems then you may not like this show but it definitely wasn’t bad. I don’t mind harem shows because I find them pretty interesting.
By far though my favorite part of the show was definitely the last few episodes when it got very dramatic just because it fun to see the characters be serious for a nice length of time.
But overall I give this show a 7 out of 10. It was definitely enjoyable and had great humor involved. It also had romance which I of course like and it also had some dramatic moments to give the show some depth. So if you haven’t seen it check it out and if you have let me know what you think of it.

Alright so I finished another manga and it was Kare First Love and I actually enjoyed it! It felt like so many anime’s that I’ve seen all rolled into one neat but slightly disfunctional package.
I also have a YouTube video with my review on the manga as well so check it out.
Here’s what the manga was about: “Coy and self-conscious high school student Karin Karino never paid much attention to boys until she met Kiriya, a popular student from a nearby boys’ school. Karin and Kiriya embark on a romantic journey despite Karin’s classmate Yuka’s best efforts to sabotage their relationship, but Karin soon learns that living happily ever after isn’t on the curriculum when she becomes Kiriya’s center of attention, as well as embittered Yuka’s bull’s-eye on her dartboard of hate.”
The manga at first glance reminded me very much Peach Girl but then as I started to read more I noticed other anime’s that had the same element. These included Paradise Kiss, Ao Haru Ride, and Say I Love You. Now noticing this didn’t hurt the manga in any way it actually made me like it more.
Now what I did like about the manga was that it was a fairly easy story to get into and it had many types of drama. It had family drama, couples drama, and friendship drama. While it did have some of the same elements that many shoujo manga have it was still enjoyable to read.
The art in the manga I also very much enjoyed since it was easy to follow along with all the chat bubbles and I didn’t feel like I didn’t know which one to start with. Plus you could tell that the guys where drawn to show how handsome they could be and also how a good majority of the girls were very pretty.
The only thing I didn’t like about the manga was that I thought that Yuka (Karin’s friend/enemy) was going to be a big part of the manga but to be honest after the beginning she wasn’t really in it. She would show up every now and then but not too much and she didn’t cause to much havoc. Then once it got to the end of the manga she was pretty much nonexistent.
But overall I did enjoy the manga and I give it a solid 7/10. I enjoyed since the ups and downs of the relationship even though it was a bit much. Also I did like how Yuka wasn’t solidly apart of the series like you originally thought. But if you like shoujo manga I think you would enjoy it. So check it out!

So for those of you who have iPhones since I don’t know if it’s in the android apps store there was a new game released by Nintento and it was a Pokemon game named Pokemon Shuffle and let me tell you that it is one of the most addicting and fun games I have played in a while.
The purpose of the game is that at each level there is a new Pokemon to catch
and of course you have to battle them to be able to catch them.
Once you battle them if your victorious then you can catch them but sometimes it doesn’t work out. Also did I mention that there is a set number of moves you have to battle them down with.
But overall the game is a lot of fun and so far I’m on level 50 something and I can’t help but play this game whenever I have a chance. They also have special levels to catch legendary Pokemon.
So be sure to check out this game and let me know if it’s in the android App Store. Also let me know if you are playing it what level you are on.
