30 Day Anime Challenge: Day 7 Of 30

Published January 9, 2015 by Shay Taree

Day 7: Your Anime Crush?

So I currently have 2 anime crushes at the moment and I say at the moment because they change constantly. So these are the 2 that are my most current crushes!

The first one is Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. Even though he starts off first as a bad guy you can’t help but later on in the series start to like him especially when a young girl by the name of Rin starts to follow along with Sesshomaru. Also Sesshomaru is just oh so sexy that you can’t help but have a crush on him.

Now number two is Kiba from Naruto. At first when I started watching Naruto I didn’t really find many of the male characters cute until Kiba had taken off his hood and then I realized just how cute he really is!

So those are my anime crushes and that’s is the end of day 6 of the 30 day anime challenge. Happy Watching!

Saddest Anime Scenes ðŸ˜ž

Published January 8, 2015 by Shay Taree

Now many of us have watched our variety of anime and some have scenes that get us pretty choked up. While some scenes just get you upset and make you feel down there are a few others that honestly make you shed some tears or cry uncontrollably. Trust me I’ve had a few of these moments. Now I just want to say that there may be a few spoilers of you haven’t seen the anime’s that I mention.

So I’m going to list 4 different anime scenes that made me cry or made me sad.

1. The flashback scene in Naruto after he defeats Pein and it shows just how badly he was treated.

2015/01/img_8424.jpg
This episode totally made me upset with everyone in the village with how they were treating Naruto. While I understood that they were scared they shouldn’t have treated an innocent child like that.

2. The final scene in Anohana when they are playing hide and seek trying to find Menma and they finally do. This is also the scene when all of the kids are able to seen Menma for the first time.

2015/01/img_8425-0.jpg
Now Anohana was just a rolle coaster of feelings from episode one so it was no surprise when this episode made me cry. All the drama finally ends in the series and it doesn’t make it any easier when all the kids are saying bye to Menma, crying themselves and also read all their letters from Menma. I was just a completely overly crying mess at the end of this.

3. The scene in Angel Beats when Kanade and Otanashi are saying their final goodbyes.

2015/01/img_8426.jpg
Once again this was a series that had a lot of sad moments throughout but this scene definitely got me because Otanashi really wanted Kanade to stay. Its also when they both kind of reveal they have feelings for eachother. This was definitely one show where I was glad no one was home to see the crying blubbering mess I became.

4. The crying in Daddy’s arm scene in Clannad After Story.

2015/01/img_8427.jpg
This is the scene where Tomoyo finally meets his daughter Ushio after 5 long years and they go on a trip together. During the trip Tomoya starts to realize several things which causes him to feel better about his daughter and want to have a relationship with her. In the end Ushio and Tomoya start to cry and Ushio says that line that made me cry which was “Cause Sanae she told me the only times I can cry are when I’m in the bathroom…or when I’m in Daddy’s arms…”

Alright so those are 4 anime scenes that either made me really sad or made me cry. So what are yours? Comment them below and once again happy watching!

Saddest Naruto Death

Published December 11, 2014 by Shay Taree

So since Naruto is now over I thought I would ask a question regarding what Naruto death did you find the saddest or most surprising.

For me the saddest death had to be Asuma’s since we saw him die and then Shikamaru’s reaction after Asuma’s death. Even though Asuma wasn’t a huge character in the Naruto universe he was still a memorable character.

The most surprising death has to be Neji’s mostly because Neji while he was apart of the Konoha 11 you kind of didn’t like him due to his attitude and how he treated Hinata. But Neji’s backstory was definitely pretty said and at the end when he dies for Hinata it made you really like him and realize that he wasn’t a bad guy.

So that for me was the most surprising and saddest deaths to me in Naruto. What about for the rest of you? Leave your comments below about what you think.

Naruto Manga Review!

Published December 2, 2014 by Shay Taree

Alright so now that the Naruto manga is now over I decided to do a review on it. So here goes! Also if you haven’t read the manga then warning there are SPOILERS!!! (Sorry)

I through enjoyed this manga but I can’t help but wish that each chapter was a lot longer! Each chapter was arounds 21-24 pages long which was not nearly long enough because it definitely kept me hanging. But in a way the shorter chapters were a good thing since it kept me excited to read the next chapter when it was released.

I also can’t help but say that the fact that the author killed off some pretty notable characters such as Jiraya, Neji, and Asuna was unbelievable and actually made the story even better. It also made me feel something for all the characters that were involved.

Speaking of which the one thing that really touched me was the back story behind what happened to Naruto in the first place. I couldn’t help but really feel for Naruto and get sad especially since Naruto didn’t ask for any of it and he was really picked on and shunned because of it. It made me wonder what I would do if I was in that situation which is a funny thought of you think about it. But overall that was one of things that I enjoyed.

The artwork of the manga was amazing and very easy to follow even when there was a fight scene going on. So thanks so much for that.

One thing I know that a few fans myself included are thankful for is the fact that several pairings that people wanted to see happen did end up happening. It felt good to know that us as the reader was right when it came to guessing or pairing up who was going to end up with who.

IMG_8235.JPG
The only things I didn’t like about the manga was the ending. I feel like even after all those chapters that it was still rushed. We didn’t get to see what happened after Naruto and Sasuke’s fight, we didn’t get to see Kakashi as Hokage, we didn’t get to see how Naruto became Hokage and the drama that may have caused, and above all else we didn’t get to see our many favorite pairings in the manga finally get together. But hopefully that will all be answered in the last Naruto movie!

But overall the Naruto manga was very enjoyable to read and definitely a manga I’m sad to see end. But it had to end at some point. So for those of you who haven’t read it you should and for those of you who have what did you think of it? Leave your comments below with your opinions and let me know!

Happy watching/reading!

Naruto 5th Movie Review!

Published March 14, 2014 by Shay Taree

Not that long ago I happened to pick up at my local Walmart the newest Naruto Movie. Well the movie actually wasn’t bad at all.

The 5th Naruto Movie is titled: Naruto Shippuden the movie Blood Prison. The movie is about how Naruto is framed for a crime he didn’t commit and is sent to an inescapable prison named Hozuki Castle. Of course once Naruto gets there he causes a lot of ruckus.

Overall this movie was good and I enjoyed all the action and seeing all of our favorite characters again, but this definitely wasn’t my favorite Naruto movie.

The art in the movie was great and I enjoyed it and the music in the movie also fit the show. One other great thing that I liked about the movie was that you got to see killer bee which was awesome!

But my favorite thing about this movie is that if you have the DVD then there is short where Naruto goes against Konohamaru in the Chunin Exam. That was super funny and had me laughing from beginning to end and I’m not going to tell you how it ends but it was awesome!

So if your a fan of Naruto definitely don’t miss out on the newest film. So happy watching!
