Where Do You Find Inspiration?

As many of you know inspiration can be everywhere. It can be in a song you listen to, a book you read, a tweet, a Instagram post, or even on a t-shirt you read. Inspiration is literally everywhere. But I’m sure that there is someplace that we all look to for inspiration and I would like to know what that place is for you.

For me I tend to look for inspiration a lot on social media. I look at what people are tweeting about, posting on Instagram, or even pinning on Pinterest. Sometimes the most simplest things can help you strike some inspiration. Many time what this inspiration causes in me is sometimes a YouTube video to post, a blog to write, or even just an activity I would like to do at home.

Another place I look to is Youtube. Although I think youtube is something that ends up finding me more so than me looking for it. Sometimes I video pops up that really inspires me or I find a youtuber that is inspiring. It really just depends on the day.

New Years Resolutions!

So it’s only at this time 5 days into the new year and of course every time a new year happens everyone has things they want to start doing. The most common one is usually eating healthy or working out. I also had these on my list as well as a few other ones like reading more, continuing to work on my confidence, and also continuing to follow my dreams.

Like many of us though we start off pretty strong but by the time it reaches February we start to return to old habits. We go back to eating junk food, the gym becomes forgotten, or we go back to what was most comfortable for us.

So I guess my question with this post is how is everyone doing with their current resolutions. Also for those that kept up resolutions what advice do you have for those currently trying to conquer our. I would definitely love to know.

Kevin Hart Don’t F**k This Up Review!

Besides being excited for the new season of Carole and Tuesday I was also excited to check out Kevin Harts new docuseries. Now I really enjoy watching Kevin Hart and find him pretty hilarious so being able to watch a more personal video about him had me pretty excited.

The docuseries follows Kevin Hart during his tour when he was recording his most recent stand up and it covers the cheating scandal as well as the Oscar fiasco. It shows you how his team handled the situation and also how Kevin handled the situation as well. You even get more insight into the people that he has around him such as his friends named the plastic cup boys as well as his dad whom he has mentioned in stand ups.

The docuseries is only 6 episodes long and each episode is about 30 mins so it’s definitely something that you can easily get through in a day. Plus when you add in the laughter that Kevin Hart is able to produce it feels like the time just flys by.

Now this isn’t to say that the entire series is funny. There are definitely moments where it gets serious and that’s mostly when the discussion of the cheating and the Oscar scandals come into play. You see just how hurt his wife was and you see the damage control that Kevin’s team goes through. Plus you see how hurt Kevin was through it all and the stress that he was going through.

Overall I have to say that the series was really interesting. It was nice to see the other side of him besides what we all read on gossip blogs and Instagram. Plus it was great to see his home life and know more about his family and friends. So I definitely recommend checking out this series especially if you are a Kevin Hart fan.

I honestly really hope that there is a 2nd season since I would love to know more about his family. So check out this series on Netflix if you haven’t already.
