So I know that many of you have heard about the new Dragon Ball Z anime that is coming out in July! I am on the fence about this and let me tell you why!

On one side I’m very excited since there hasn’t been a new Dragon Ball Z series in 18 years. Plus it’s a continuation and not a reboot so it will be interesting to see what happens. Also it raises a few questions such as is the artistic style going to change because since it is a new era when it comes to anime it would be neat to see our favorite characters with new looks. Also how long will the anime be?

  
Now for the other side I’m slightly apprehensive about this just because of the hassle that has happened with Sailor Moon Crystal. 

  
I understand that Sailor Moon Crystal is just following the original manga this time but it’s not considered a reboot of the original so it’s an original in its own right. I’m just scared that when the new Dragon Ball Z series comes out it won’t live up to the hype surrounding the show. I mean while Sailor Moon Crystal has been a good series so far many would agree that it could have been done better.
