Kuroko’s Basketball Episode 7 Review

Published February 25, 2015 by Shay Taree
Alright so we finally got past what seemed like to me a long game between Akashi and Midorima. While it was exciting it felt good to get to the other matches during the tournament.
This new match was between Kise’s team and the Kuroko’s team. It was really cool to watch this match since they haven’t really faced each other in a match since a practice game where Serien beat Kise’s team.
Well you could definitely tell that Kise was ready to get this game underway since the look in his eye showed that he was ready.

Kise immediately showed that he was ready by using the copied moves the Generation of Miracles and doing the impossible such as stopping Kuroko’s Phantom Shot. Which Murisakibara couldn’t even do.

Also he ended up even using Akashi’s emperor eye on Kagami! Talk about a wow moment!

But overall I can’t wait until the next episode and I give this episode a 8/10. An 8 mostly due to the flash back at the beginning which was boring but after that it was completely action until the end.
If you saw this weeks episode leave your comments below and if you didn’t then still leave your comments below. I would love to hear all comments.

Anime Amino App Review

Published February 24, 2015 by Shay Taree

So today’s post is on an anime app that I’ve actually been using for quite a few years now and I think that others would also enjoy it.

It’s called Anime Amino and it’s basically a social network for anime fans.

It’s where anime fans can post about anything and everything that is anime related. There are chat rooms, forums, messages, and also opinion polls. It’s just an overall fun app.

I got this app since quite a few of my friends weren’t into anime and I wanted to find other people who were as interested in anime like I was. I’ve definitely made a lot of friends and I’ve also came across anime’s that I didn’t know about.
So if your looking for an app where you can meet more anime fans, make friends, find out about more anime shows, or find out about new shows then definitely download this app.
  •
It’s definitely available in the App Store for iPhone. So far as I know it’s not available for android but I may be wrong. There also quite a few amino apps on different topics so you can definitely check those out as well.
Alright so that’s my post on anime amino. Let me know if any of you have this app and what you think of it and if you don’t let me know what you think of the concept. So leave a comment down below.

Sailor Moon Crystal Episode 16 Review

Published February 23, 2015 by Shay Taree

So this weeks episode of Sailor Moon Crystal had us meeting another one of the Spectre Sisters. This time we meet Berthier and she and the Black Moon Clan are after Ami.

IMG_8875
Now this episode and this arc overall I’m really enjoying since it’s finally letting us get to know all of the scouts individually which we didn’t get during the first arc. With this episode we got to know a little bit more about Ami and her past concerning her parents. We also got to know about what one of her fears are which was definitely good to see.

IMG_8871
I will definitely say that the cutest moment in this series was when Mamoru let Chibiusa rest at his place after he and Luna find her and he is holding her hand.

IMG_8873
That was such a sweet moment that was ultimately kind of ruined by what I deem a corny moment. Mamoru and that crazy puppet made me laugh but at the same moment I was cringing.

IMG_8872
The most epic moment for me that I really liked was the chess match between Berthier and Ami.

IMG_8874
It was cool since there was two mental matches going on. One with the chess game and the other with the mental match the Berthier is playing with Ami.

I would have to definitely give this episode a 9 out of 10. I absolutely loved this episode and can’t wait to see what happens next. But what did everyone else think of this episode? Comment down below and let me know.

Shōnen Hollywood Anime Review. ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

Published February 21, 2015 by Shay Taree

Alright so I finished Shōnen Hollywood about a week ago and this was a strange anime to watch overall. I decided to watch this anime because I’ve watched musical anime’s before such as Uta No Prince Sama and La Corda D’Oro. So assumed there would be some similarities as well as differences but I didn’t really enjoy it.

So the gist of the show is about a group of guys that are scouted for various reasons to become basically the remix of a boy band that was around 15 years prior.

IMG_8843
At first I was excited about the show but then slowly but surely I started to lose interest and at times get confused. Now there were some enjoyable parts like some of the songs and the funny moments but overall I found the show to be very emotional in parts and not a emotional but an emotional where I was like why is he upset.

The character development of the series was okay because we did get the back story of a few of the characters but it wasn’t enough to get me to have an attachment to them or have my favorite. But it was just enough to keep me invested in the anime a bit longer.

IMG_8844
There weren’t many songs in the show overall but the opening song definitely had me nodding my head along so not all was lost. But the background music in the show didn’t catch my ear at all.

IMG_8845
Currently the 2nd season is airing and I’m debating watching it once it’s finished so we will see. But I’m leaning on the side of yes just so I can see of it gets better. But as an overall grade I will give this show a C-. While it did have a few enjoyable parts to keep me interested until the end there were definitely parts when my mind started to wander and I was waiting for something more to happen.

If you have seen this series let me know what you thought of it. Also if anyone is currently watching the 2nd season let me know if it’s worth watching. Leave your comment below and like always I will always answer.

Kenshin & Kaoru Fanfic (ღˇ◡ˇ)

Published February 20, 2015 by Shay Taree

So today is pretty much everyone’s favorite day of the week and that is Friday and on Fridays it is of course fanfiction Friday’s. Yay!!!!

So today I decided to post a Rurouni Kenshjn fanfic that is definitely on the mature side because there are quite a few lemons (sex scenes) and limes (heavy petting/almost sex) so if you don’t like these kinds of fanfics then that is perfectly fine.

But anyway I decided to post this fanfic because Rurouni Kenshin was one of the first anime’s I watched that wasn’t Pokemon or Dragon Ball Z. As many of you may or may not know Rurouni Kenshin aired on Toonami in 2002 which was when I watched it. But it’s always been a favorite of mine so if you haven’t seen the show then check it out. But for those of you who have here is your chance to finally see two of many people’s favorite characters finally together.

Once again this fanfic is not mine. I just read them not write them. Like always the info for the fanfic is below and the link for the fanfic will be embedded in the title so click on it to take you to the story and like always please enjoy.

Title: Frustrations

Author: acc2787

Rating: M (Mature)

Pairing: Kenshin X Kaoru

IMG_8836-0
Synopsis: Kenji is having nightmares which is interfering with Kenshin and Kaoru’s love life!

New Big 3 Anime? ⎛◕̯◕⎞

Published February 19, 2015 by Shay Taree

So I remember that at one point everyone would mention that the big 3 mainstream anime were Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece.

IMG_8828
Well I was wondering if anyone thinks that this has changed especially since Bleach is now over.

I think it has and if I had to say what the big 3 anime are now I would still say Naruto

IMG_8825
but then I would have to add on Attack On Titan

IMG_8826
and Sword Art Online.

IMG_8827
I’m only adding those two because they are now shows that many people are watching even if they aren’t very big into anime. I’ve also kept Naruto on there since Naruto even though the manga is over there are still many that watch the anime.

But what do you guys think? What did you all think of the big 3 anime before and what anime’s do you consider to be the big 3 now? Let me know in the comments below because I would love to here your opinion on this topic.

Kuroko’s Basketball Episode 6 Review

Published February 18, 2015 by Shay Taree

So another new episode of season 3 of Kuroko’s Basketball has aired and I’m not going to lie but I wasn’t as into this episode as I thought I was.

The episode started off and continued with the match between Akashi and Midorima. Midorima and his team was definitely trying as much as they could to get around Akashi’s emperor eye. But it wasn’t working. At one point Akashi even scores in his own teams goal. Now I guess that was to make a point that no matter how hard you try and even if I score in my own goal you and your team won’t win.

IMG_8822
Akashi was definitely right about that because when Midorima went up against Akashi all that ended up happening is Midorima fell down to the ground due to the weight of the emperor eye and Akashi ended up scoring to end the game. Akashi is definitely someone to look out for.

IMG_8820

IMG_8821
I can’t wait for the next episode because I really want to get to the match between Akashi, Kuroko, and Kagami.

So what do everyone else think of this episode. Leave your comments below to let me know.

January Kawaii Box #2 Review

Published February 16, 2015 by Shay Taree

Alright so this is a new topic for me but for those of you who like Japanese or Korean snacks or items will love getting this cute little box each month.

I actually heard about this company through YouTube by watching a blogger by the name of momotokio do a box opening of her kawaii box. After that I went on to kawaii boxes website myself to get more information to which I ultimately ended up subscribing myself.

So let’s get started on the review and then later on below I will list the cost and a link to the website.

So as far as shipping is concerned it took about 2 weeks for me receive my box but since it was coming from Singapore I understood. They did give me a tracking number as well as email me when it had shipped. The only complaint I had was that I couldn’t track it. Every time I tried to it said that shipping information wasn’t available. But that for me wasn’t a big deal since I knew I was going to get it soon.

When I go my box it arrived in this cute white box with the company’s name written in the corner and taped very nicely.

IMG_8802
Once you open the box there is pink tissue paper of course with a cute postcard to match.

IMG_8803
And these are the items I had inside….

IMG_8804
I had in total 9 different items and everything was just so cute and adorable. I especially love the socks, the pen, and the panda phone charm.

IMG_8805
I definitely can’t wait to get my next box from them which should be at the end of February. The total cost of a monthly subscription is 18.90 a month. They also only accept PayPal so if you don’t have a paypal account it will direct you to create one. The website is Kawaii Boxif you would like to take a look yourself.

Let me know if the comment below what you think of this review and also let me know if you would like me to review each box that I get.

My Top 5 Romantic Anime’s ❤︎(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)❤︎

Published February 14, 2015 by Shay Taree

So usually I won’t post on Saturdays but since today is Valentine’s Day I’m making today a special post. So today I’m posting what my top 5 favorite Romantic anime’s are. I’ll also post the synopsis of them so everyone can decide if they will like to watch them or not.

1. Itazura Na Kiss:

IMG_8792
Ever since she entered high school, Kotoko Aihara wanted to be in the same class as Naoki Irie. The only problem is that Irie is the smartest student in school contrast to Kotoko being one of the dumbest. Now in her 3rd year of high school, she still isn’t there. However, one day her home gets destroyed and the only place left to go to was Irie’s home. Now that she lives close to him, will their relationship be the same, or will it become greater than it is?

2. Wolf Girl And Black Prince:

IMG_8793
The story centers around Erika Shinohara, a vain 16-year-old girl who tells her friends about her romantic exploits, but she actually has no boyfriend. She claims that a handsome boy in a candid photo is her boyfriend, but it turns out that boy is a schoolmate named Kyouya Sata. She has no choice but to make him her fake boyfriend. Unfortunately, Sata may look like a sweet person, but he is actually an ultra-black-hearted sadist. Sata takes advantage of Erika’s weakness and treats her like his dog.

3. Lovely Complex:

IMG_8794
Risa and Otani are always being laughed at as the comedy duo. Risa, a girl, is taller than the average girl, and Otani, a boy, is shorter than the average boy. The two are always bickering and even their teacher sees them as a comedy act. But as their friendship develops, so do Risa’s feelings toward Otani.

4. Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama:

IMG_8795
Misaki Ayuzawa is the first female student council president at a once-all-boys-turned-co-ed school. She rules the school with a strict discipline demeanor, but she has a secret: she works at a maid cafe due to her family’s circumstances. One day, the popular A-student and notorious heart-breaker Takumi Usui finds out her secret and makes a deal with her to keep it hush from the school in exchange for spending some time with him.

5. Peach Girl:

IMG_8796
Peach Girl is about an average high school girl, Momo Adachi, who everyone thinks is a beach bunny/slut because of her tanned skin. The actual reason she is so tanned is because she was on the swim team and tans very easily. She likes a boy, Toji, who she heard only likes non-tanned girls. This causes her to question who she is and have low self esteem. She spends a lot of time trying to remake herself into the girl she believes he wants; however, she has a friend, Sae, who likes to go behind Momo’s back and make her life terrible, mostly by trying to take Toji away from her. All the while there’s another boy, Kairi, who is in love with Momo.

Alright so those are my top 5 romantic anime’s that I think have varying levels of degrees when it comes to both romance and drama. To me they are are good to watch on Valentine’s Day whether you have someone or not. Also comment down below what your favorite romantic anime’s are or let me know what you think of the 5 that I listed.
