Favorite OTP’s?

So since today is Monday I wanted to have a more lighthearted post. So I want to know what is your favorite OTP’s.

For me I have a few but I guess my top 4 have to be from the shows Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Inuyasha, and Bleach.

From Sailor Moon it of course has to be Serena/Usagi and Darien/Mamoru. 

  
For me it’s just that they were the first anime couple that I completely adored!!! 

For Pokemon it is no surprise that I chose Ash and Misty. 

  
Now while they didn’t get together in the actual show but everyone knows that they were made for each other 

Now Inuyasha it is of course without a doubt Inuyasha and Kagome. 

  
 Everyone was waiting for these 2 to kiss or get together so when they finally did it made me one very happy girl.

So when it comes to Bleach it still is a bit of a debate as for if Ichigo ends with anyone who would it be. But I think it’s going to be Rukia so I’m going with that.

What If Dragon Ball Z Wasn’t Successful?

So we all know that Dragon Ball Z is wildly successful show where it has crossed over into mainstream media such as video games, action figures, and even a motion picture. Now while it wasn’t a great one it was still a motion picture on the big screen!  
But I’ve always wondered what would have happened if Dragon Ball Z didn’t end up being as successful as it had been. 

Now I’m sure that many of you may possibly say that you don’t think anything would change. But let’s remember that Dragon Ball Z is what put Funimation on the map and also made many people take notice about anime. Also many of us may not even be anime fans if it wasn’t for Dragon Ball Z

  
So I think that a lot would have changed. I feel like Funimation wouldn’t be as big of a company as it is if Dragon Ball Z would have failed in the states. I feel like anime would be even more underground than it is now. Now I know that other anime’s have been out before Dragon Ball Z but I feel like Dragon Ball Z is the one anime that can be counted on to continually bring in money and also new viewers.

When Anime’s Just Stop!

So I don’t know if anyone finds this annoying but I do!!! I hate when anime’s just stop and then there is just no continuation. Now I don’t mean when a show just doesn’t have a 2nd season I mean when it stops in the middle of a season. 

There are really only 2 shows that I’ve had do this to me and one was an anime called Daa Daa Daa. 

  
It was a really good anime I couldn’t wait to finish it but then literally there are other episodes but they have never been subtitled nor can I find them. This really irked me because I was so invested in a show that I wasn’t even able to finish. Yes I was able to go and finish the series due to reading the manga but in some ways it just wasn’t the same. 

The other series was D. Gray-Man. 

  
Now Funimation got a hold of this show so I was watching it dubbed but then the dubbed stopped due to now enough people watching it or buying the DVD’s. Now I don’t blame Funimation for this one because it was a great series so for this one I actually blame us the fans for not supporting it more. Now I know that you may be asking why I didn’t just watch it subbed but that’s because I find it difficult to go between voices like that because I have to get used to it again. 

But I really hate when this happens to anime series and I really wish that it wouldn’t happen but it some ways I can understand because while it is entertainment it is also a business.

Female Fans, Male Fans, & Overall Nerd Stigma!

Guilty Pleasure Anime!

So I know that many of us have either enjoyed an anime that we shouldn’t have or we have a genre of anime that we like that others may not like. 
I know that for me when it comes to anime my guilty pleasure anime has to be any anime that I watched when I was younger. No matter how old I get or even how bad it is I still enjoy it. I guess it the nostalgia I get from those anime but I can totally watch them whenever I’m bored or just want something to watch that entertaining.

   
As far as for anime genres that are a guilty pleasure I guess I would have to say any anime that’s geared towards romance. I guess it’s the girly side of me but for some reason I just enjoy that genre so much so the most love involved in it the more I love it.
