What Anime Should Have A Prequel?

Published February 26, 2016 by Shay Taree

Everyone talks about what anime’s need a sequel but I’ve always wondered about what anime’s should have a prequel.

I think having a prequel to a few anime’s would definitely shine light on a few things that may not be understood during the series or even give greater insight into a few of the characters in the series.

So what anime would you like to have a prequel? I would love to know what your opinion is on this so comment down below with a few of your idea’s.

CGI In Anime!

Published February 22, 2016 by Shay Taree

I’ve noticed more and more in anime that CGI is being used and I’ll be honest I’m not the biggest fan of it. I feel like it gives the anime a fake look to it that isn’t realistic.

I definitely favor the original hand drawn look to anime since it’s just looks much cleaner and realistic. But maybe this is just me.

But what do all of you think of CGI in anime? Do you enjoy it and want to see it more or do you want to stick to the hand drawn artistic style of anime?

Comment down below to let me know what you think of this. I can’t wait to read them!

Underappreciated Anime’s?!

Published February 19, 2016 by Shay Taree

I got the idea for this post by talking to one of my friends on kik. I’m sure that there are a lot of anime’s that are over appreciated to the point where it can be over whelming or annoying but there are also a lot of anime’s that are underappreciated.
I think for me it’s not really a specific anime that is underappreciated I think it’s more that a specific time of when anime was produced that are underappreciated.

For me it’s more of the anime’s that were produced during the 90’s. Now by no means have I seen all the anime’s that were produced during this time period but from the ones that I did watch they were pretty amazing.

The specific ones I’m mostly talking about are the ones that aired during the time Toonami

came on in the afternoons and that’s Rurouni Kenshin &

Yu Yu Hakusho.

I found these shows to be amazing and they had a story line that definitely drew me in. Also both series had a little something for everyone! It had fighting for the guys and even romance for the girls!

I just feel that since these anime’s were produced in the 90’s that not many people know about them which is a shame. I think a lot of fans are now caught up in the newer anime’s that they have forgotten what amazing anime’s have been produced before those.

But what anime’s do you feel are underappreciated? Please comment down below with your comments. I can’t wait to read them!

Also if your interested in watching Rurouni Kenshin or Yu Yu Hakusho you can watch the first 2 seasons of Rurouni Kenshin on Netflix and Yu Yu Hakusho I’m not able to find online on a legal site but I do know that you can buy the DVD’s!

New YouTube Video Idea!

Published February 15, 2016 by Shay Taree

Alright so I’ve decided on a new video idea of reviews for my channel and I would love everyone’s input.

Now in a previous post I talked about the anime’s that I found most creative and many of you commented that many of the films you found most creative were Miyazaki’s films.

So I was thinking that I would watch all the Miyazaki films and do a review on each of them. I’ve only seen two Miyazaki films and I know there’s many more that are amazing that I need to see!

So what do you all think? Would you like for me to do that? Comment down below with your thoughts. I can’t wait to read them!

Admitting Your An Anime Fan!

Published February 12, 2016 by Shay Taree

How do you let someone know your an anime fan? Are you someone that wears it proudly or someone that doesn’t mention it unless the conversation calls for it?
I’ll be honest for me I don’t exactly mention it to people unless it’s needed. This isn’t to say I hide it because I definitely don’t since I have anime t-shirts and other merchandise that people can clearly see.

It’s also not something that I hide because I’m ashamed of it.

I love anime and I love being a fan of it. I think it’s a wonderful art form and way to escape the realities that is life. But it’s not something I exclaim to the world every chance I get, but hey if someone mentions an anime show I just may speak up hehe.

But anyway for me anime is just on the many things I like so yes it’s definitely something I will proudly say I like when someone asks me about it. For example if a conversations starts concerning my awesome Sailor Moon shirt I’m wearing yay!

So how do you admit your anime fan? Are you like me and only really mention it when you feel the conversation warrants it or are you someone that tells someone no matter what the conversion? Comment down below and let me know. I can’t wait to read your comments?
