Highlight Of The Week?

So today is Friday and I don’t know about everyone else but today has felt like both a short but also long week. But I’m curious as to what was the highlight of your week? What are you happy about that happened this week? What are you proud of yourself for doing? Or what did you accomplish. The ideas are limitless.

For me my highlight of this week is that I’m proud of myself for going to the doctor for my checkup. I’m terrified of doctors but when I went this time my new doctor was really nice and helped me feel at ease. Yes I did shed some tears because I was nervous but overall it went well.

Another highlight was being able to finish the anime Carole & Tuesday. It was a great show with amazing music. It also helped me to accomplish having a new anime review video for my YouTube channel.

What Anime Song Or Soundtrack Are You Currently Enjoying?

The main reason why I decided on this topic is because I just got finished watching the anime Carole & Tuesday. This anime is a music anime so of course there is a lot of music/songs to listen to.

For me currently it is definitely this soundtrack that has been stuck on my mind. Before that it was the Cannon Busters opening and ending song (definitely recommend checking it out). So I’m wondering what song or soundtrack are you enjoying currently?

Many times the music in a show can definitely be one of the first things that get you hooked. Before Cannon Busters I hadn’t found any new anime songs I enjoyed. I was still listening to the old ones that I enjoyed. Which may explain why I was in a bit of an anime slump.

So give me some ideas on what you’re listening to! I would love to know! Also please tell me what anime it’s from as it may make me want to check out the show so that I can listen to this song.

Making More Time For Hobbies?

One thing that I’ve realized I struggle with currently is not finding enough time. For me I want to spend more time watching anime. But work and overall just life in general has been making that difficult. So I want to know how do you find time for your hobbies?

Before when I was younger I could spend hours watching anime. But now it seems like I can barely find 30 mins to spare to watch an episode. Maybe this is just apart of being an adult? If that’s the case then I hate it and wish I could just watch anime all day.

I look online and see people being able to watch their favorite shows and it makes me wonder how I can do that. So I would love for anyone to leave their ideas below on how I can possibly manage my time better. That way I can set more time aside for hobbies. Plus I mean all my hobbies not just anime watching haha.

How Would You Help The Anime Community?

As I’m sure many of you have noticed there has always been this weird divide in the anime community. Sometimes this divide can be due to shows, voice actors, or just feeling like people want to one up one another. But I want to know how would you solve this issues if you could.

For me how I would solve them is by just trying to have people be nicer to each other. Have people understand that others are going to have different opinions and have people try and learn to listen to others.

The anime community can be a wonderful place but sometimes it can really suck when you feel like you are afraid of voicing your opinion or liking a particular show because of what others have to say about it.

The only way that we can help change this community is by helping ourselves or changing ourselves and our behavior. Changing others can be difficult but we can change how we interact and react to others. If someone says something about how you feel about a show or character let them know that you respect their opinion and you understand what they are saying. A step further is that if they respect your opinion before voicing their own be sure to thank them.

These small steps I feel can really help the community. Plus try not to give those that are toxic to the community power since it will just cause bigger issues. Trust me I know that this can be difficult especially when someone hurts you but try and show that individual or people that you are better than that and you won’t stoop to their level.

But how would you help the anime community. These are just some small things I would do and I’m sorry if this is jumbled up. I literally just thought of this topic. But I can’t wait to read your ideas.

Has Your Hobby Positively Influenced Your Life?

When I saw this question online I figured that this would be a great topic since for me it’s definitely a yes.

Before I literally just watched anime because it was something that I enjoyed but now it’s turned into much more than that. Anime has caused me to branch out and do things that I never thought that I would do.

Because of anime it’s caused me to start a YouTube channel and blog talking about it which is something I didn’t think I would do. Pursuing those things is something that I never thought was possible because I didn’t know what to talk about. But now it’s opened up so many opportunities such as podcasts, meeting some of my favorite voice actors, and of course meeting so many new friends in this community.

It’s also helped me make friends outside of the online community. I didn’t realize that so many of my friends liked anime and now I have other friends to go to cons with.

Another thing that it helped me out with is confidence in not caring what people think about my hobby. Plus it’s also helped me to embrace the other hobbies that I’ve learned to enjoy such as self care, reading, and also other nerdy topics like comic books and video games.
