What Makes You Love The Anime Fandom!

I know that a lot of time the anime fandom gets a lot of crap regarding it being toxic or unwelcoming. But I can honestly say that it’s not all bad. I actually have a lot of really good moments in the anime fandom.

For me the anime fandom is the place where I made a lot of friends. Both in the real world and online. It’s also been a great conversation starter when I’m seen wearing something anime related.

Plus without anime I definitely wouldn’t be where I am now. I definitely wouldn’t have a YouTube channel or a blog talking about anime and I wouldn’t be able to talk on podcast about the same topic. Plus it also opened up me looking into other fandoms and jumping headfirst.

Have You Ever Decided To Leave A Fandom?

So for this discussion topic I wanted to explore fandom and have people decided to leave. I also gave my own ideas as to why people may leave fandoms. I didn’t explore any solutions to some of the reasons I came up with but maybe that may be a part 2.
