Most Overrated Anime Pairing?

So while I love this pairing with all my heart I have to say it’s Ichigo and Rukia from Bleach.

Okay now before I get some angry comments I know that they aren’t an actual couple but I want them to be a couple. Plus I feel they are apart of the biggest feud between Bleach fans which is would Ichigo be with Orihime or Rukia.

But the reason why I find this pairing to be overrated even though I love it is because they aren’t an actual couple. Even though many of them wish they were and hope that by the end of the series they are together but at this point and time they aren’t.

Also I guess the other reason why I find this pairing overrated is because I guess Bleach is now an overrated show and manga. The show dragged out for a long time and I know many people lost interest in it. I still read the manga and it is getting very good but it also has kind of dragged out.

Anime Memorial Day Post! 😄😆

Since its Memorial Day today and ally of BBQ’s are going on I wanted to know what top 5 anime characters would you invite to a BBQ.

My top 5 are:

1. Makoto from Sailor Moon

because she can definitely cook and I would need someone to cook all that food!

2. Usage from Sailor Moon

would also have to be there because I need someone to help me eat all that food plus she would provide great conversations.

3. Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho,

even though Hiei can be kind of mean and brooding you always need to have someone that doesn’t want to join in but joins in in the end.

4. Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club.

This is because Tamaki is so funny and he would provide some great comedy with all his antics.

5. Then last but not least would be Kagami from Kuroko’s Basketball

because he would provide great competition for all the activities that would be going on.

Most Underrated Anime Character?

Now that I asked about the most overrated character what about the most underrated character. I know that I have two and that’s Chad from Bleach and Mori from Ouran High School Host Club.

I say Chad from Bleach because he is just an awesome character. While he didn’t have the most awesome power he was definitely there for his friends. I also would love to know more about his backstory.

Now the reason why I chose Mori from Ouran High School Host Club. I chose him because Mori was mostly in the background in most the episodes and he didn’t say much but he still had his purpose. I would have also liked to know more about his backstory and why he is so quiet. Also I kind of wished he would have ended up with Haruhi.

Most Overrated Anime Character

Now we have all seen people ask about the most overrated show that they have seen but I want to take it a step further and ask what anime character do you feel is the most overrated. Now I definitely have mine and I hate to break a few hearts or get people mad but mine it Levi from Attack On Titan!

I know I know that people want to probably beat me up right now but let me explain why I feel he is so overrated! Yes I agree that Levi can be cool, awesome, and he does have his funny moments but he isn’t what I thought he was going to be.

Before I had watched Attack On Titan all I heard about was this character Levi so I was thinking that he was the main character but it turns out he wasn’t a main character and wasn’t even in the series until about almost halfway through. It really made me wonder why did people like him so much. I liked Mikasa more than anything but that is another story!

Anyways hearing a lot about Levi got me interested in the show but once I watched it I was kind of disappointed. I don’t know maybe it’s just me but I find Levi to be overrated and please don’t hate me for this it is purely my opinion.

Have You Ever Been Embarrassed Of Anime Fans?

So I know that this can be a kind of sensitive topic or one where people may wonder what the heck I’m talking about but let me explain. What I mean about this topic is have you ever been embarrassed when you have seen another anime fan very overly excited? I’m just asking this question because I know that us as anime fans can sometimes be scrutinized as being nerdy or not cool but many of us (well I like to think are much more than that and are actually quite cool).

So when you see an anime fan acting how others may perceive us does it make you a little embarrassed that someone may be acting on that stereotype. I’m not going to lie I have had those times. They are far and few between but they have happened.

But how about everyone else? Has this ever happened to you? Did you do something about it? Also how do you feel about those stereotypes when it comes to anime fans? Comment down below and let me know.

Anime Breaks….😴

I just thought of this topic while watching anime this morning while getting ready for work. The current anime in watching I’ve been watching for a while since due to work and other things I haven’t been able to finish it. But it got me thinking about has anyone taken a break from anime or manga to do other things that interest them.

I know that I have and it was when I was in middle school and into some of high school when I wasn’t watching anime at all. At the time it didn’t interest me as much as it does now but still it was a break. It was actually cool to take a break since it got me to explore other interests that I had. Also just to let everyone know I’m not going to be taking a break anytime soon it was just a anime discussion topic I had thought of.

Anyways, have any of you ever taken a break from anime and if so how long was it for? What did you do while on that break and what made you come back to watching anime? I would love to know. Comment down below with your answers.

What Annoy’s You About Anime?

Yes I know this is a slightly strange topic but it’s one that I’m interested to know what answers I will receive. But what annoy’s you about anime. This could be anything from similar plots, similar character characteristics, to just the animation styles of some shows.

What annoy’s me about anime sometimes is the fan service. Some fan service is okay but when it starts to be overboard is when I start to get a little annoyed. Sometimes I feel that it can take away from the show because it can become what majority of people start to focus on instead of the plot.

Favorite Miyazaki Film?

I know that everyone has seen a Miyazaki film at one time or another even if they didn’t know it at the time. But I would like to know which are your favorite ones?

I actually have 2 favorite Miyazaki films and one of them I used to watch a lot because it would always come on TV. My 2 favorites are Kiki’s Delivery Service

and Spirited Away.

I actually didn’t watch Spirited Away until I was in college but I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.

What If Anime Was Banned?

So I had seen a forum post about anime trying to be banned and then after I found a Facebook page devoted to banning anime. But the page could possibly be a complete joke. But regardless it got me thinking about what would I do if anime did get banned.

I think first of all that I would be surely pissed off!

I mean what would banning anime do anyway? It hasn’t hurt anybody and it is just another form of entertainment for people to enjoy. I also think that I would still find a way to enjoy it even if it meant me having to sneak and watch it.

Which when I think about it may be pretty cool but also dangerous.

Can you actually picture going to jail for watching anime or being fined for buying it. That just seems funny to me and also pretty ridiculous.

But what would you do if anime was banned? Would you still watch it regardless or would you try and find something else to partake in. Comment down below and let me know!

Who’s Your Anime BFF?

i don’t know about everyone else but I would love if I could have an anime character as my best friend! But have you thought about who it would be?

Well I thought long and hard about mine and I honestly think my anime BFF would be Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon.

I think we would have lots of fun just hanging out and going on lots of different adventures although I would have to make her study from time to time.
