What’s Your Biggest Dream?

I know that many of us have dreams and I’m sure we all want to fulfill them or at least try to. Now I want to know what is your biggest dream.

I think I’ve already said mine before and that is to make a name for myself. I want to be a positive influence on others. I want to show other young girls who look like me to know that you can do any thing.

How I’m trying to conquer this dream is doing everything that scares me and just trying. Making a YouTube channel was scary to me and still is in a lot of ways. Having a blog is scary for me since it’s putting my thoughts into the writing. Also just telling people what my biggest dream is and also what I do in spare time is scary. This is because I’ve always been afraid of what other people think of me and what I do. But don’t worry I’m learning to not care and just do what I want regardless of what people have to say.

Calling Attention To Your Faults!

What made me think of this topic is due to a conversation that I had with my boyfriend. He helped me to call attention to something I didn’t realize was a problem. That problem was that I tended to not always do what I say I’m going to do or doing what I want to do regardless of what others want. Hearing him say this really brought to my attention that I need work on this because it isn’t fair to those around me.

So now I’m wondering how I can solve this problem. Well maybe not solve but definitely work on it. I know that one of the things I plan to do is start to notice when I’m doing those things and stop it right away. This way I can correct that behavior before it becomes an issue.

I also know that there are other things that I need to work on like trying to listen to others more and also taking criticism better. But I know that this is a start.

So now I recommend that everyone think about something that they may need to work on. Also if you do think of something how do you plan to overcome this issue or resolve it? If comfortable comment down below and let me know. I’m interested to read everyone’s comments.

Something Inspiring!

As I’m writing this I’m sitting in bed watching Hasan Minhaj’s series on Netflix which is really funny by the way. So check it out if you haven’t yet.

But usually for me Sundays are spent kind of relaxing and just trying to get ready for the week ahead. Usually these means doing laundry, editing my video for Monday, just doing whatever I want to do.

Also lately I’ve been wanting to spend my Sunday’s doing something that inspirational for me. That could be reading a book about self-improving or a topic that interesting to me. Sometimes it watching something inspirational on YouTube. For me it’s just anything that can get my creative juices flowing.

For me today that was coming across a blog post talking about being aligned with your own energy and how to know when you are and when you aren’t. At first I wasn’t sure what I was going to get out of it but while reading it I realized just how much I could actually relate.

I realized that I do/did a lot of self sabotaging when it comes to the things I want in my life. I self doubt sometimes, I compare my success to others, and I felt lost. But I then realized that there are some thing that do where I am aligned and I had to think about those moments and why they happen.

2nd Channel Update!

So about a month ago I decided to start a 2nd channel where I talk about things like positivity and just overall motivational topics. But I’ve decided to at this time put that channel on hold.

What I plan to do instead is upload my motivational Monday videos onto my anime channel and try and relate it to anime topics. Also to do some lifestyle video but also relate it to anime. The reason why I plan to do this is because I know that many of us get inspired by anime or other nerdy genres and I want to explore this more.

But remember that I still do plan to do more reviews since I still enjoy watching anime and reading manga. I can’t wait to continue on this journey with everyone. Also I do plan to bring my 2nd channel back but I’m figuring out what exactly I plan to do with it.

Following Your Purpose!

So I know that this past weekend I had wrote a tweet talking about following my path and feeling like something was missing. Well let me explain just a little bit more.

Since I was a kid I’ve always like reading and watching the stories of people who are now famous. Like how they got there, their hardships, and finally making it. I’ve always thought my purpose was doing entertainment since I could never see myself working a typical 9-5 job. Sitting at a desk just didn’t seem to suit me and daydreaming of having my name in lights and people knowing my name always filled my head.

Now as an adult I still have those dreams. So when I watch stuff on tv or YouTube of my favorite actors/actress I start to panic thinking that something is missing and that I’m doing something wrong. It’s a weird feeling but all I can say is that it feels like something is calling my name and that I’m meant for something greater.

I guess that may be one of the reasons why I got involved with YouTube and blogging since it allows me to be creative and express myself. Also yes I do work a regular job and while I enjoy it I do know that it’s something I’m not meant to do forever.

This is what lead me to make that tweet. It was a way of telling myself that I would focus on my dreams more and also fulfill them. So here is to the future and following your dreams!

So please everyone that is out there be sure to follow your dreams no matter what people say.

Panic Attacks & Trying To Get Healthy!

As I’m writing this I am so so tired. The night before I slept horrible due to having a panic attack. If any of y’all have had a panic attack before they are horrible and even after it’s over (at least for me) I can feel the effects for hours after. Mostly it’s just the fear of having another one. But I’m blessed that I got through it.

One thing though that I’m trying to focus on is trying to get healthier. I want to start working out more, drinking more water, and also eating healthier. I can drink more water and working out I can work on. But the eating healthier part is what’s hard for me. I love sweets a lot and I love cheese. So I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about these things.

For starters I plan to start working out in the mornings before work for maybe like 10-15 mins and also eating a healthier breakfast. I don’t really like oatmeal but I’m going to try and start eating it. My biggest problem is lunch and dinner. Typically I don’t eat lunch and when it comes to dinner my family orders out a lot.

So I want to know for those of you who have gone through this or currently are do y’all have any advice. Also do y’all have any healthy recipes that you could recommend. Preferably for lunch or dinner. I mean I can eat salads but that may get old really fast. So comment those down below and to be honest I’m terrible in the kitchen so easy recipes would be awesome.
