Infinity Dreams Award Nomination!

First of all thank you so much to Lita Kino Anime Reviews for nominating me and also be sure to check out her blog. She posts amazing things! 

So this is where I talk about 4 dreams that I’ve always had.

1. To be an actress: 

  
It wasn’t until pretty recently that I want to be an actress but that’s because I learned its a lot of fun and helped me to come out of my shell.

2. Have more confidence:

  
I haven’t always had the most confidence in myself but I’m slowly working on it. 

3. Start a YouTube Channel:

  
I’ve always wanted to start one but I’m not sure how to go about it or what kinds of videos to post. I’ve thought about doing something anime related though.

4. Work in the anime industry:

  
I’ve always thought about working in the anime industry especially since I like anime so much. I think that while it is work it can still be fun.

Happy 4th Of July! 💥🎉

Alright so here is a 4th of July post since I  didn’t post yesterday. But what does everyone have planned for the 4th? Anyways here is a question that I think would be fun to answer. Since I know where I’m at a lot of fireworks are illegal but anime character do you think would get busted for fireworks?

I think for me it would have to be with Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho 

  
or Renji from Bleach. 

  
Well I say Yusuke because he is a total rebel and would love to blow things up! Also I say Renji because fireworks would probably be kind of new to him so I can see him just running amok and causing havoc haha!

But what character or characters do you think would get in trouble with fireworks? Comment down below with your answer and also let me know what your doing for the 4th. I would love to know!

Musical Anime’s

So I’m currently watching the 3rd season of Uta No Prince Sama and it’s amazing but of course it made me think about why many of us or at least some of us like music based anime’s. 

I think the reason why I like them is because of well the music. Well a majority of the time at least. The music is generally the central focus of the show so it’s has to be amazing but also many of them have a good beat to them that makes them catchy.

Also another reason why I like them is that many of them like Uta No Prince Sama 

  
and La Corda D’Oro 

  
are reverse harems so it’s nice to see a girl surrounded by a group of guys. 

So far I’ve seen 4 different musical based anime’s but the one I really recommend for those that aren’t into the music genre and also for since some may not like the reverse harem and pop songs is Beck Mongolian Chop Squad.

    

The dub is amazing and the songs are more of a rock feel so it’s definitely more edgy. Plus music is definitely the main focus but there is some romance but it doesn’t overpower the show. Also just for some warning it is on the more mature side due to language but definitely check it out of your interested.

Anime Character Vlogs!

This weekend I got a chance to watch a lot of vlogs on YouTube and I can’t lie I’m very obsessed with them. But while watching them it got me thinking about what if some of our favorite characters started vlogging and what would that be like. Now vlogging is similar to blogging but instead of writing your video recording everything. 

A few characters that I could see vlogging was Naruto, Ichigo, Shin, and Tohru. I mostly said these characters because either they are crazy or their friends or people they are around are hilarious and I could see them causing havoc. 

Naruto 

  
would show a lot of his training and even his pranks that would lead him getting beat up by Sakura but there would also be action with all the fighting.

Well Ichigo 

  
I couldn’t really see him vlogging but due to his family and friends I could totally see them being stars of the vlog with how they pop out of nowhere. Plus I this it would be funny to see all the soul reapers trying to figure out what a camera is.

Now Shin 

  
is just hilarious all together but I could see his vlogs constantly being flagged due to content. But still they would be so funny that I would have to watch.

Now Tohru 

  
took some thinking about but I finally decided that she may make a good vlogger due to the fact that all of her friends change into animals which would make that interesting.

Last but not least I chose Goku 

  
because I feel like he would have so much fun recording everyone and I can already picture Vegeta getting annoyed with Goku and the camera!

Make Your Own Anime Channel!

So I just literally got the idea for this blog post when I started thinking about my Toonami post and what I would have airing if I could. So my question is if you could have your own anime channel what shows would you air and why. Here is the shows I think I would air:

Yu Yu Hakusho

  
– I would air this show since while it is widely known not many people have still seen this older anime and it is definitely not one to miss. The combination of action and comedy in some instances is just great.

Rurouni Kenshin

  
– Just because every anime channel should have at least one samurai show and Rurouni Kenshin is the perfect one to get into liking this genre. There are sword fights for the guys and even some romance for the girls!

Panty & Stocking With Garderbelt

  
– Now this show is just hilarious but would also be the show that would have to show during the late time hours due to the content but still you need a comedy show not just action.

Paradise Kiss

  
– Now you know I would need a romance anime on my channel and Paradise Kiss had a great combination of romance but it’s also not your run of the mill romance which will make many people enjoy it.

Eden Of The East

  
– Since every anime channel needs a suspenseful show and I think Eden Of The East would serve this purpose.

Is Toonami Boring Now?!

I’ve started to realize that I’m not all that into Toonami as I was before. I’m not sure if it’s because of the shows that are now on Toonami or if it’s the time that Toonami is now on.

I mean I’ve said this before but I wish that Toonami was all day on Saturday since just a few hours in the middle of the night when most people are asleep isn’t enough. Well at least to me it isn’t. Plus maybe it could be because a lot of the shows they are airing are either ones I’m not interested in or I’ve seen before.

Now don’t get me wrong I like Toonami and I would rather it be how it is now rather than not have it at all. But does anyone else agree with me or understand. Comment down below what you think. I would love to know!

Naruto Road To Ninja Anime Movie Review!

So yes I know that this particular Naruto movie came out quite a few years ago but I just now got around to watching it. I actually had forgotten about this movie until I spotted the DVD in Best Buy and that is when I realized that this is the next anime that I want to watch. So let’s get to the review and here is a synopsis of the movie:

“Ten years ago, a gigantic demon beast known as the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was released from its jinchuuriki by an unknown shinobi wearing a mask. The village of Konohagakure was close to destruction by the attack of the Nine-Tails, but the village was saved by its leader. Minato Namikaze and his wife Kushina Uzumaki—who was the jinchuuriki at the time of the attack—sealed away the demon inside their new born son: Naruto Uzumaki. However, this act of saving the village cost them their lives and they left the future of the ninja world to Naruto.
With the demon fox sealed away, things continued as normal. However, the peace of the village would not last long, for Pain, Konan, Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, Sasori, Deidara, Hidan and Kakuzu—members of a dreaded shinobi group called the Akatsuki—attacked Konohagakure. Naruto narrowly manages to launch a counter-attack but why have these shinobi appeared when all of them were meant to have died? The mystery remains, but the shinobi are praised by heir families for completing such a dangerous mission. However, one of them who has never known the faces of his parents, Naruto, cannot help but feel lonely. At that exact time, suddenly, the masked man makes his appearance in Konoha. Naruto and his allies are both attacked by the man’s mysterious new doujutsu.”

  
So I think that so far this is one of my favorite Naruto movies. The one reason why I was so excited to see this movie is because of Naruto’s parents and being able to see them more. Plus I was interested in seeing what would happen if Naruto had of had his parents. One thing I will say though is the movie wasn’t what I thought it was going to be about. I went in with the expectation that it was mostly going to be exploring what Naruto would have been like if his parents hadn’t of died but instead it was quite different.

    

Everyone in Konoha was so different in this alternate universe and I greatly enjoyed it! No one was more different that Hinata and Ino since their personalities were totally switched. Hinata was more aggressive while Ino was more reserved. I still really loved the exchange between Ino, Chouji, and Shikamaru. It was pure comedy!

  
Now when Naruto’s parents finally entered the movie and when they showed their last moments with Naruto I couldn’t help but almost cry. The look on Naruto’s face and also just seeing how along he felt knowing that his parents aren’t around was just heart breaking. It definitely gives me the feels every time!

  
But overall I give this movie a 9/10. This movie was really good and definitely gave me the feels during several moments. I also loved how Naruto and Sakura were the main characters and in a way got even closer. But let me know what you thought of this movie or review by commenting below.

Favorite Cliche Anime Love Story? ❤️

I know that many of us have enjoyed the romantic anime’s at one time or another or even the action anime’s that have a romance or two going on. But what is your favorite cliche anime love story?

So what I mean by cliche is where the story is so predictable and you know how it’s going to come out but you still love it anyway. There is just something about it that still makes it enjoyable no matter how many times you’ve seen that same underlying romantic plot.

My favorites are generally either the hate that grows to love, the unrequited love that becomes love, or the we are helping each other out but then becomes love. Also there are 3 shows that I love that show this love story perfectly! 

Inuyasha: 

  
Now I love this anime and it’s a perfect hate to love story. At first Kagome couldn’t stand Inuyasha and the same could be said about Inuyasha. But throughout the series you could see hints that they were starting to like each other and some were more subtle than others.

Itazura Na Kiss:

  
I literally binge watched this anime and stayed up all night watching it but it was worth it. The main character Kotoko is in love with this guy named Irie and at first he really doesn’t like her and shuts down most of her attempts at getting him to like her. But due to circumstances and over time he starts to fall for her. It was just a cute love story that I can watch again and again.

Toradora:

  
Alright so of course Toradora has that epic kissing scene between the two main characters but still the characters start out trying to use each other to get the person that they were liking. But over time and after spending time with each other they started to like each other.

Even though all these romantic plot lines were predictable it was still really sweet to see your favorite character fall in love with each other.

2 Sunshine Award Nominations!!! Yay!!!

So I was nominated for the sunshine award a few weeks ago so I’m very sorry for just now getting around to answering these questions. I was nominated for this award by Takuto’s Anime Cafe and also Lita Kino’s Anime Reviews. 

Thank you so much for nominating me and now I’m going to answer both sets of questions!

Takuto

1. Do you prefer anime films or series? 

I prefer anime series since I can watch it episode by episode and be able to take breaks in between. 

2. Why do you write on your blog?

I write on my blog because I want to share my love and opinions about anime with others as well as be able to read theirs. Also its a great way to make friends. 

3. Gun fights or sword showdowns?

Sword showdowns definitely! Rurouni Kenshin anyone haha. 

  
4. What was the last anime character that you related deeply to, if any?

Hmmmm I guess I would have to say Usagi/Serena from Sailor Moon. Even though I’m not a superhero or princess in anyway I definitely do daydream as much as she does and I love all my friends.  

  
5. What’s your opinion on this spring anime season – simulcasts?

Well to be honest I didn’t watch any of them but let me know if any of them are any good. 

6. I liked Shiroyuni’s question so here’s “ How do you juggle between real life and blogging commitments?”

Haha good question but I guess I just take it one day at a time. I try not to stress if I don’t post and I’m trying my best to read others posts. 

7. At this exact moment, what anime and episode are you on/watching, if any?

Currently I’m watching Psycho Pass and it is so good and interesting!

1. What have you found blogging has bought to you? 

I think blogging has provided for me a great outlet to express myself and also make friends. 

2. What was your favorite childhood show growing up? 

Well anime it was definitely Sailor Moon and non anime has to be Rugrats!

Definitely Ramen! 

4. What is the most typical anime genre that you end up watching a lot? 

Definitely romance animes and comedies! 

5. What anime character do you feel you relate to a lot?

6. What ending of an anime would you change if you had the chance to. 

It would definitely have to be Ouran High School Host Club! This is just so that there could be more episodes.

China Banned 38 Anime’s With More To Be Added!

alright so I’m sure that everyone has read this crazy news of China banning 38 anime titles from being seen and distributed. Some the titles include ones that many of us have watched and loved such as Attack On Titan, Death Note, High School Of The Dead, and Black Butler.

  
Now the reason behind this ban is because many of the anime show graphic violence, dark themes, and in many fighting against authority. It’s seems China feels like watching shows like these will make their citizens want to do these things. Sorry but I think that’s kind of stupid and I don’t agree with this kind of policeing (?) when it comes to forms of entertainment or expression of art. 

  
I mean yes there can be a time and place for it if it’s harmful for society but that seems to be rare and far between. So why ban it? I don’t think the government should have a say in what we can watch but if it’s who can watch it that’s a different story since there is content that isn’t suitable for certain age ranges. But that is purely a suggestion since many of us I’m sure have watched things that we shouldn’t have necessarily been watching. 

So it took me some digging but I found a completely list of the anime’s that were banned and here they are:
