I’m sure that I’m not the only one who has gone through trying to explain to someone usually an adult in their family about why anime isn’t just for kids.
For me that person is my dad because he can’t completely understand exactly why I like anime so much but he is starting to understand. He is only starting to understand because I showed him a few different shows like Shin-Chan, Bleach, and also Death Note.
But one thing that never gets old (well actually yeah it does) is whenever I tell people I want anime they immediately think of Pokemon.

Now I have nothing against Pokemon because I love the show but not all anime’s are like Pokemon.
Anime is a specific genre and within the genre there are other categories such as romance, mystery, horror, thriller, martial arts, drama and much more.
Don’t get me wrong I can see why people automatically think of Pokemon and that’s because it’s an anime that is very mainstream and many people know about it. But the way people say it when I tell them I watch anime is what makes me very perturbed because anime is so much more than that. It’s like when they say that they think of me as a little kid when I’m obviously not.
Anime’s such as Death Note

are by no means for kids due to the topic and in Elfen Leid’s case the violence involved. So when I’m faced with that awkward you watch anime conversation I point out a few that aren’t for kids.
But what do you guys do when in that situation or how do you feel when someone thinks anime is kiddish due to some mainstream anime’s. Leave you comments below and let me know.

Alright there is the info! Enjoy and let me know how you like it.
This was a topic that this crazy mind of mine thought up and also because I’ve seen quite a few posts about shoujo anime recently. But I was wondering why people enjoy shoujo anime so much?

Now before I get flaming posts about this topic I just want to say that I have NOTHING against shoujo anime. I personally enjoy them a lot and I’m always looking for new ones (feel free to recommend some). I just wanted to know why they are so enjoyable.

I mean is it the storyline, the characters, the music, the animation, the humor (in some cases), or could it just be that it’s anime so why not enjoy it hehe.

But I can’t speak for anyone else but I think why I enjoy shoujo anime is so much is that I love to watch lighthearted anime’s sometimes to just escape and get away from the real world for just a little bit. Also it makes me happen to see someone even if it is someone that isn’t real get their happy ending and see things go right. Plus I’m a total romance kind of girl! I can’t help it!

I also really like the music in this genre of shows, the animation at times can be really clean and sharp, and plus why lie but the guys are always so cute haha.

But seriously why do you enjoy the shoujo genre? I would love to know! Comment down below and like always I will comment back!

I’ve liked Pokemon since I was a kid and even though I don’t watch the show as much as I used to I still do throughly enjoy the entire Pokemon franchise.
But this got me thinking about what if Pokemon was real? I mean I could just picture going on adventures with my friends, battling with our Pokemon, and of course catching Pokemon.
The world of Pokemon has always been fascinating to me. I mean I would love to have Pokemon help out with chores like Mr. Mime did for Ash’s mom or also just having a Pokemon for a friend and companion like Ash’s Pikachu. It would just be something astounding and wonderful.
But hold on one second what if Pokemon was actually real but we just haven’t discovered them yet or what if they did once live long ago but they died out or migrated elsewhere. Now wouldn’t that be crazy. You never know what may have happened long ago or what may happen in the future.
I did though find on the internet pictures of what the 3 starter Pokemon from the red and blue versions of the video games would look like if they were real.
Charmander:
Bulbasaur:
Squirtle:
These images just looked really cool to me even though they don’t look as cuddly and nice as they do animated but still it’s very neat.
But what do you think about all of this? Leave your comments below regarding this topic and of course I will always respond.

Day 29: An anime you wished was real?
Hmmmmmm as I’ve noted before I’ve seen a lot of anime’s and each one is so vastly different that imagining it as real took some narrowing down.
While I love the romance anime’s I feel like those could be real life regardless depending on the romance anime. For thrillers while exciting I doubt I would make it to the end since I’d probably try and run away first.
So that leaves an adventure anime and in this case I decided to go with Inuyasha

because well it has a little bit of everything. It has adventure since you would be traveling back and forth between the present and feudal Japan, thriller because well you can of course die, and then of course there is romance since who wouldn’t try and win over Sesshomaru!

So that is my pick for today’s question and once again I extend the question to the followers of my blog. What anime do you wish was real? Comment below with an answer and of course I will always answer back since you are all also my friends. So…..

I’ve finally gotten a chance to watch an anime that I had been wanting to watch since I heard about it and that’s Wolf Girl and Black Prince. I had heard about this anime via Crunchyroll and also via an anime social media app that I frequent on called Anime Amino.
Like usual I waited until the anime was done airing before I watched it so that I could marathon it and wow was it worth the wait.
I immediately got hooked on the anime just by the opening song alone but then once it started with the main character Erika being a perpetual liar so that she can be welcomed by new friends by making up that she has a boyfriend. At first they believe her but after seeing no proof they start to think she is lying (which she is). Erika then takes a picture of random boy just to say that she has a picture but it turns out to be the most popular boy in school Kyoya Sata.

To keep up the lie Kyoya pretends to be her boyfriend but treats her like a dog (literally) since he isn’t as sweet as he looks.
Pretty much after seeing all this happen after the first or second episode I was like I have to see more!!!! “o(*^▽^*)o” The anime then takes you through Erika and Kyoya’s relationship as they go from pretend boyfriend and girlfriend to actual boyfriend and girlfriend.
Awww so sweet!!! ♡(๑′ᴗ‵๑)♡
As far as the characters go I actually really liked the female lead Erika because to me she acted like many want to act. Especially when it came to doing couple things because I’m sure that every girl pictures doing all the cliche things with whomever they like or are with at the time.
As for Kyoya, well I of course liked him because hey he is a very cute guy but throughout the series I would like and dislike him during certain parts. But hey I’m guess that’s what the producers wanted you to feel.
One part in particular is what I like to call the infamous water scene with Erika and Kyoya when he basically played a joke on her by pretending that he actually had mural feelings for her.

At first it for my hopes up but once I realized that he was joking I immediately didn’t like him and was happy when Erika threw her glass of water on him. To me that was what he deserved and I could tell from the look on his face that he was shocked that she did that.
Now I can’t forget the music in the show which was amazing. My favorite some though in the series was of course the opening. It’s call Love Good Time and I was hooked onto the beat by the first episode. Even now I still play that song all the time on my phone and it’s one opening that I never skipped and would just let play for every episode.
So if you like shoujo anime’s and anime’s that put on an emotional roller coaster in some parts then you will definitely enjoy Wolf girl and Black Prince. You can watch it on Crunchyroll and the show is about 12 episodes so it’s pretty short. Also there is manga that is currently still on going and I plan to read it just to see what happens next.

Day 27: Most Badass Scene From Any Anime Character?
So of course like most of these challenges it took me a long time to figure out what kind of answer I would give for today’s challenge question. But I finally came up with an answer.
So for me the most badass scene had to be when Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho during the Dark Tournament arc had to fight in 3 fights back to back. That was just super awesome because he used moves and techniques that he had yet to use before. You got to see his full power which was really cool and had me wanting to watch it over and over.

To be honest it’s actually one of my favorite scenes in Yu Yu Hakusho and an episode that I go back and watch over and over again.
But how about you guys. What is the most badass scene you’ve seen from an anime character? I would love to know!
So there ends day 27 which means there are only 3 days left!

Day 26: Best Anime Fight?
As always there are just way to many fights in anime that I’ve seen to try to narrow it down to one but of course I had to.
So the best fight I’ve seen in an anime had to of course go to Dragon Ball Z. That show had so many amazing and epic fights that I couldn’t help but automatically think of DBZ as soon as I read the question.
So my favorite fight of that series has to be Goku Vs Majin Vegeta.

That fight was just amazing and I could honestly watch it over and over again. But what about everyone else? What is your favorite fight in an anime?
So there ends day 26 and once again comment below about your favorite anime fight.
