Kuroko’s Basketball Season 3 First Impressions

Published January 22, 2015 by Shay Taree

So as I’m sure many of you know the third season of Kuroko’s Basketball has started airing. The 2nd episode has already aired so here is my first impressions.

First of all I love the music! For the past 2 seasons of this anime I’ve been in love with both the opening and ending song and the third season has been no different. Also the art of this show is still as amazing as the others. The colors are vibrant and the animation is awesome.

Now I’ve already finished the manga for this series so I know how it is going to end and so far it has definitely been following the manga pretty closely. Not only that but it feels so good to finally see all the basketball moves that had been in the manga animated.

So I honestly have to say that you should definitely check out season 3 of Kuroko’s Basketball and if you haven’t seen the anime at all yet then definitely check out the first season. It’s an amazing sports anime that you wouldn’t want to miss.

Let me know what you think of this new season of Kuroko’s Basketball below!

Day 20: Anime character that gets on your nerves?

So the anime character that gets in my nerves would have to be Juvia from Fairy Tail. I know that is kind of shocking since I know quite a few people like her but for sometimes she can urk me.

2015/01/img_8613-0.png
The reason why she gets on my nerves is I guess it’s because of how in love she is with Gray and sometimes it can be kind of uncomfortable watching how stalkerish she can be but it can also be really funny!

So that ends day 20 of the 30 day anime challenge. So let me know who is the most annoying anime character to you.

Day 16: Anime with the best animation?

So there has been quite a few anime’s that have had some good animation but for now I have to go with the animation in Wolf Girl and the Black Prince.

2015/01/img_8473.png
The animation in that show has been done really well. I haven’t finished the anime just yet but the animation makes me excited to see the rest. The animation doesn’t make me not want to watch it or make me irritated.

But what animation do you like best regarding a show that you like? Let me know by writing a comment below. So that ends day 16 of the 30 day anime challenge!

Dropping Anime’s

Published January 13, 2015 by Shay Taree

So I know that at one time another we have all started watching an anime where it’s not what we thought. Whether it’s because of the plot, the characters, or the art style isn’t something we are used to. When this happens sometimes we just continue to watch the show with hopes that it will get better or sometimes we drop the show entirely and just stop watching it.

For me I usually try to finish a show regardless of how I feel about it but there have been three instances where I have ended up dropping an anime.

This first one was an anime called Chocotto Sister. I dropped this anime a long time ago but I believe the reason why I dropped it was because the show wasn’t really going anywhere and it didn’t hold my interest. I did read the manga that this anime is based off of and that was definitely more enjoyable than the anime.

2015/01/img_8461.jpg
The second one was an anime named Hiiro No Kakera Dai Ni Shou. I remember watching the first season of this show and I didn’t exactly enjoy the first season but I got through it. When I started watching the second season I was hoping for something different to happen but it was still the same thing and it wasn’t holding my interest. It was a romance show but I wasn’t seeing a lot of romance.

2015/01/img_8462.jpg
The last anime that I dropped was Monthly Girls Nozaki Kun. Now this anime I just had no idea where it was going and I just didn’t enjoy it. I sometimes do think that I should give it another try and maybe I will but I’m still thinking about that.

2015/01/img_8463.jpg
So those are the anime’s that I have dropped and why. So what makes you decide to drop an anime and why? Also what anime’s have you dropped? Comment below and let me know. Also once again happy watching!

Day 11: Favorite Mech Anime?

Hmmm so I’ve really only seen one mech anime and it’s pretty much been my favorite one and that’s Aquarion.

2015/01/img_8458.jpg
Aquarion was show I actually heard about on YouTube when many of the people who are in the show did panels and were asked questions about the show because of the merging process that happens during the show. Which is pretty weird but can also be funny because when they merge it sounds like they are making orgasming sounds.

But regardless of that the show is really amazing so definitely check it out of you haven’t had a chance. It’s definitely a show that isn’t mainstream of well known but it’s still really good!

So that’s end of day 11 of 30 for this anime challenge. Let me know what your favorite mech anime is and I may definitely check it out. Once again happy watching!

Day 10: Favorite Fighter Anime

I have 2 favorite fighting anime’s and its wayyy to hard for me to choose just one so I choose both!

The first one is Yu Yu Hakusho! I started watching this show when it was airing on Toonami and I absolutely fell in love with it. The fighting in it is amazing and so are all the characters. My favorite fights though are during the dark tournament arc of the series. There were so many amazing fights that it kept me hooked from beginning to end.

2015/01/img_8443.jpg
My other favorite one is Rurouni Kenshin and while this show didn’t have a lot of fights it did have a few substantial fights! Plus this show was also a sword fighting show and was set during the meji era in Japan. So the choreography of these fights was amazing and actually made me think I could do it.

2015/01/img_8444.jpg
Alright so that is day 10 of this 30 day anime challenge. So let me know what your favorite fighting anime is and happy watching!

Day 9: Best Anime Villain?

So for me the best anime villain has to be Yuno Gasai from Future Diary.

2015/01/img_8441.png
Now I know it can be up to your own interpretation on if she was really a villain but I consider her to be due to how cunning she was and how she played her role well. Sometimes she was really loving to the point where she was borderline crazy and then at a drop of hat she became totally evil and willing to do whatever it took to win. This is mainly why I consider her to be a villain.

She did whatever it took to get things to go her way and she lied to get Yuki to win in this game. So I think that makes her a villain but what do you all think. Let me know below and once again happy watching!

Day 8: Favorite anime couple?

So my favorite anime couple has to be Gajeel and Levy from Fairy Tail! I’m not sure why but I think it has to be the fact that they are so different from each other but Gajeel will definitely protect Levy at all costs and Levy would always be there for Gajeel.

But what about you guys? Who is your favorite anime couple! Comment and tell me below and once again happy watching!

Day 7: Your Anime Crush?

So I currently have 2 anime crushes at the moment and I say at the moment because they change constantly. So these are the 2 that are my most current crushes!

The first one is Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. Even though he starts off first as a bad guy you can’t help but later on in the series start to like him especially when a young girl by the name of Rin starts to follow along with Sesshomaru. Also Sesshomaru is just oh so sexy that you can’t help but have a crush on him.

2015/01/img_8429.png
Now number two is Kiba from Naruto. At first when I started watching Naruto I didn’t really find many of the male characters cute until Kiba had taken off his hood and then I realized just how cute he really is!

So those are my anime crushes and that’s is the end of day 6 of the 30 day anime challenge. Happy Watching!

Saddest Anime Scenes ðŸ˜ž

Published January 8, 2015 by Shay Taree

Now many of us have watched our variety of anime and some have scenes that get us pretty choked up. While some scenes just get you upset and make you feel down there are a few others that honestly make you shed some tears or cry uncontrollably. Trust me I’ve had a few of these moments. Now I just want to say that there may be a few spoilers of you haven’t seen the anime’s that I mention.

So I’m going to list 4 different anime scenes that made me cry or made me sad.

1. The flashback scene in Naruto after he defeats Pein and it shows just how badly he was treated.

2015/01/img_8424.jpg
This episode totally made me upset with everyone in the village with how they were treating Naruto. While I understood that they were scared they shouldn’t have treated an innocent child like that.

2. The final scene in Anohana when they are playing hide and seek trying to find Menma and they finally do. This is also the scene when all of the kids are able to seen Menma for the first time.

2015/01/img_8425-0.jpg
Now Anohana was just a rolle coaster of feelings from episode one so it was no surprise when this episode made me cry. All the drama finally ends in the series and it doesn’t make it any easier when all the kids are saying bye to Menma, crying themselves and also read all their letters from Menma. I was just a completely overly crying mess at the end of this.

3. The scene in Angel Beats when Kanade and Otanashi are saying their final goodbyes.

2015/01/img_8426.jpg
Once again this was a series that had a lot of sad moments throughout but this scene definitely got me because Otanashi really wanted Kanade to stay. Its also when they both kind of reveal they have feelings for eachother. This was definitely one show where I was glad no one was home to see the crying blubbering mess I became.

4. The crying in Daddy’s arm scene in Clannad After Story.

2015/01/img_8427.jpg
This is the scene where Tomoyo finally meets his daughter Ushio after 5 long years and they go on a trip together. During the trip Tomoya starts to realize several things which causes him to feel better about his daughter and want to have a relationship with her. In the end Ushio and Tomoya start to cry and Ushio says that line that made me cry which was “Cause Sanae she told me the only times I can cry are when I’m in the bathroom…or when I’m in Daddy’s arms…”

Alright so those are 4 anime scenes that either made me really sad or made me cry. So what are yours? Comment them below and once again happy watching!
