Sentenced To Be A Hero Anime First Impression!

This was an anime that many people recommended for me to check out and follow for the winter 2026 anime season! So let me tell you that everyone tha recommended this anime made a great choice because I’m really enjoying it so far

The 2nd episode just released today and at first I wasn’t sure but after finishing the 2nd episode I definitely plan to keep up with this anime. Sentenced To Be A Hero is about a guy by the name of Xylo who is sentenced to become a hero which is actually a punishment and not something to be celebrated. I found this to be an interesting concept and it made me continue watching.

Also one thing that was surprising was that the first episode was a whopping 58 minutes. I was thinking it was going to be 25-30 mins but whe I saw that 58 minutes it stopped me in my tracks. The 58 minutes was worth it to me since it did give me a chance to really find out more about the world. But I gave it until the end of the 2nd episode to really give my first impression since fantasy shows can sometimes need some time for me to get into them.

Overall I really think others should check out the anime because os far it’s really good and the premise is quite interesting. Check out the video linked to below to listen to my first impression.

Hana-Kimi Anime First Impressions!

Hana-Kimi was one of 5 winter anime I put on my list for this winter season and so far I’m glad that I did. So far only the first 3 episodes are out with the 4th one about to air in the next few days and I’m hooked on it. I’m enjoying the drama, the funny moments, and also some of the angst that is happening. It’s also really keeping me engaged due to the synopsis since it really reminds me of the early 2000s move She’s the Man that started Amanda Bynes.

Hana-Kimi has been well known for a while since it was/is a popular manga and it had already been made into a live action drama. But this is the first time that it’s been made into an anime from my understanding.

It involves a girl named Mizuki who is disguising herself as a boy at an all boys school to get close to a boy that she likes. Of course a lot of mishaps happen along the way especially when it turns out that she is roommates with the guy she likes who’s name is Izumi Sano.

I’m super excited to watch more of the show since it already has a few characters figuring out he is actually a she so I’m curious on how that will navigate throughout the series.

BTS Announces World Tour Cities & Dates!

Yes I am a kpop fan specifically an Army since my favorite group is BTS and they just announced their anticipated 2026 world tour! I am so excited for this tour and just to tell yall how massive this is that when the news came out Armys crashed the website Weverse (where we get a lot of news from) and also Twitter! That already makes me nervous for when tickets go on sales next week.

BTS last tour was a short one in 2020 where they performed in LA, Seoul, Japan, and Las Vegas! So many Armys are super excited because not only do we get this tour but also a new album that releases March 20th of this year. I am so excited for this tour and album since they have been on hiatus as a group since 2022 due to their mandatory military service.

Who else is super excited for this tour and album! I already know that getting tickets is going to be a bloodbath!

My Hero Academia Final Season Review! (Spoilers)

Over the past few days I finally decided to watch the final season of My Hero Academia! This was a long time coming and I was super excited to watch the conclusion to this amazing show. I did watch it dub since I’m used to the dub voices but that didn’t make this season any less exciting!

There were many times during the season that I was almost brought to tears. I was on the edge of my seat with the thought that All Might was going to die or that Bakugo wasn’t going to make it. Plus I felt bad for several of those involved in the entire battle including the bad guys since we got to understand why they are the way they are.

The final battle was epic and everything that I hope it would be the stand out moment and the part that almost got me to cry was finding out that Deku was now quirkless again. I was so ready to see him continue to go out there and fight but to find out he was now quirkless just made me sad. I also enjoyed have the epilogue there to see what everyone was up to after and to have it narrated by Deku just made it that much tear jerking.

There was definitely some laughs though so not everything was sad like finding out that Bakugo still had that attitude of his and is gunning for the number 1 spot. Overall I enjoyed this series a lot and I’m so glad I went back and started it over from the beginning since seeing the characters change over the course of the entire series. But my favorite character is still Todoroki haha!
