I’m sure that the title sounds very menacing but trust me it’s not. Pretty much it’s a discussion topic on is society making us think anime is becoming more mainstream and do you think anime will ever be mainstream.

I agree with you so much! I think they are lieing to us! Society wants to be cool enough to make anime mainstream. Also I can’t see anime in general becoming mainstream,but maybe a few anime’s will. Man I would love to see (reference alert) Mew Ichigo marketing bottled water! Or Sora Naegino on a cereal box!

Interesting topic. Personally, I kind a agree with you on the society question. I think companies are just saying that what we want to hear. I know that at my local Wal-Mart, they have anime but it has a little bit of Naruto, Pokemon, Attack on Titan and Sailor Moon. The anime you mentioned pretty much describe a Best Buy I go excluding Sword Art Online but instead it is RWBY.
Yeah I’ve seen a few anime at local places but I’ve noticed at a majority of places that the anime selection is dwindling. Everything is definitely more available online.
I can agree with you about online. When I do see anime in public stores, there are always the ones mainstreamed like DBZ, Attack on Titan, and Sailor Moon. I know that a GameStop next to my college, they sell anime merchandise that are either Attack on Titan or Fairy Tail. I prefer shopping anime online for more variety.

Yeah me too. Online stores always have a lot of what you want. Public stores only sell what is mostly talked about. I know that Hot Topic try to attract customers with a variety of anime. I seen some stuff from them like Hatsune Miku, Death Note, and Hetalia. Personally, I think Hot Topic does a better job on selling anime merchandise.

The anime merchandise is the reason why I like Hot Topic haha. I wish there was other stores that also sold anime stuff like Hot Topic. It will actually save money because you don’t have to pay shipping.

Well at least GameStop are selling those Pop! Funko figures. They also sell anime goods.

With all these figures, I can’t hold all of them XD. Still, it makes you look cool having them. I think a while back when Naruto Storm 4 was being released, GameStop was selling the glow-in-the-dark Kurama figure.

Yeah it is. It looks awesome. I think that is the only figure they have that glows in the dark. I would totally buy it.
