Great discussion. At first, I thought anime was Japanese animation that originated in Japan but then I also think it can also be a style of work. Anime like Avatar and RWBY are anime but they were made in the United States. I heard that a Cartoon Network cartoon Code Lyoko was an anime in France. Personally, anime is becoming more an art style of entertainment or even cartoon.
