Pokemon Go!!!

Published September 11, 2015 by Shay Taree

So I’m sure that everyone has seen the trailer or have at least read about the new Pokemon Go! For those who haven’t here is a link to the new Pokemon Go game. I for one am very excited about the game!

Pretty much Pokemon go literally takes the game of Pokemon and you play it in your own backyard while on the go and dealing with your everyday life. Your able to catch Pokemon, battle other trainers, and also trade Pokemon with others.

Instead of having to deal with a hand held device the game is played on your smart phone and don’t worry the app is going to be able to be used on both Android and IOS devices.

The game also has a Bluetooth decide that connects to your phone to help with the capture of pokemon.

The game is slated to be released in 2016 and I can’t wait to learn more about it. What do you all think about this game and are you excited for it? Will you download it or will you by pass this game. Comment down below and let me know. I can’t wait to read your comments.

Favorite Things About Anime Conventions?

Published September 9, 2015 by Shay Taree

As everyone knows I went to a convention this weekend and I had a whole lot of fun. But this time I’m extending this question to everyone else as far as what your favorite thing to do at conventions are?

I know my favorite thing is to go to the different panels

, go shopping for things in the dealers room, and if there are voice actors I like trying to get their autograph.

But what about everyone else? Comment down below on what you like to do at conventions and if you haven’t been to one yet what would you like to do?

Nana Anime Review!

Published September 7, 2015 by Shay Taree

I know that NANA is an older anime and has been out for a while but I’ve finally gotten a chance to watch it. Yes I know that I am very late but hey at least I have finally watched it.
So anyway on with this review and I completely fell in loved with this show and it had me hooked for the very beginning! I literally watched 4 episodes before I had to go to work and I couldn’t wait until I got home from work so that I could try and finish.
But anyway the premise of the show was pretty much about two girls who of some crazy way have the same name and then end up becoming roommates when they both travel to Tokyo for different reasons. Once they become roommates the story then progresses with each of their ups and downs when it comes to love and just life in general.

I honestly really loved this show and I just had to keep watching each episode to see what was going to happen next. Nana K doesn’t always have everything together and she finds it very easy to fall in love with another guy. Nana O had more of a rough life overall so she is very tough. But overall they make a good pair of friends since their personalities are so different.

Now throughout the show there are so many songs and the soundtrack was just amazing!!!!! Two bands that are prominent throughout the series are Blast which is Nana O’s band and then there is Trapnest who is another band which involves a group characters that are involved with Nana O as well as Nana K later on in the series. But regardless the songs that they sang and performed were amazing so of course they are now on my iTunes.

The only thing that I did not like about this series was the fact that it didn’t finish. The anime itself left off in a good place but it was still very unfinished since there were quite a few questions that weren’t answered. Thankfully thought there is the manga to help you to answer those questions but at this point the manga is also on hiatus. At least it was the last time I checked.
But overall I love the series and I really wish there was a 2nd season! So I give this anime a 9/10. I had to deduct a point due to the ending. But if your looking for anime with awesome music and enough drama to last you a lifetime definitely check out Nana. The dub was actually really good and it’s available on both Netflix and Hulu both dubbed and subbed. So comment down below on what you thought of this anime if you watched it as well as this review.

SacAnime Day 3 & Final Recap!

Published September 6, 2015 by Shay Taree

Alright everyone I’m finally back home from SacAnime and omg the last day was so much fun! I didn’t do a whole lot and left kind of early to beat traffic but I still was able to do a few last minute things before I left.

The first thing on the agenda was going to the Video Game Voice Acting Legends Panel. Which had Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, Wally Wingert, Steve Downes, and Jen Taylor!

This panel was so much fun and very funny!!! I definitely had a good time listening to their stories and their experience when it comes to voice acting in video games.

The last and final panel I went to was the Mighty Morphen Power Rangers Panel

and it was so cool to see some of my childhood favorite rangers all on one stage.

But overall that is what I did today on the last day of the convention. Also thanks so much for seeing and commenting on my posts. I hope you enjoyed them though and please continue to comment!

SacAnime Day 2 Recap!!!

Published September 5, 2015 by Shay Taree

Alright everyone so while I’m typing this I’m currently in a panel titled Chillin With The Voice Actors where there read radio scripts from the 30’s & 40’s! But anyway on with recap!

So my day today started off with watching a Bleach Q&A with Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, Johnny Yong Bosch, Liam O’Brien, and Wally Wingert!

Also OMG that panel was sooooo good!!! It was so funny. I definitely enjoyed it and it was so cool to see many of my favorite voice actors in the same room together.

After the panel I then stood in line for autographs and OMG it was totally worth it. The only bad thing was paying for pictures which was 10$ each but like I said it was worth it! So I got a picture with Johnny Yong Bosch

Travis Willingham

& Laura Bailey

Like I said totally worth it since I’ve only ever seen their panels on YouTube and have always wanted to meet them. They were also really nice and autographed my SacAnime book!

But that’s it for the recap tonight but check it tomorrow’s recap for the last day of the con. So comment down below on whether you have met any voice actors including the ones I’ve met and what your experience was.

SacAnime Day One Recap!

Published September 4, 2015 by Shay Taree

Alright everyone so for now ends day one of SacAnime and I have been having an amazing time!!! There is just so much to do and see! The best part is that I brought along my mom and one of my best friends (the other is arriving tomorrow). So here is what I have done so far.

One of the first things I had to do once it opened was of course check out the dealers hall and there was a long line since it didn’t open until about 12.

After walking around and of course buying a few things I made my way to the 2 panels that I really wanted to see. One was to see Johnny Yong Bosch during his Eyeshine panel

and the other to see Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham for their Halo Q & A panel.

I really wanted to ask them for their picture after it was over but I was too shy to ask. Hopefully I see them again before the convention is over.

After that I ended the day with more shopping in the dealers hall of course and ended up buying more things. Don’t worry at the end of the convention I will post of picture of everything I bought or if you like I can actually film a haul of everything that I got! Let me know by commenting down below.

Alright so that ends day 1 of SacAnime and look forward to another post tomorrow evening of day 2 of SacAnime! I can’t wait to tell you all what I do tomorrow!!! Also let me know what I should do about my Instagram to be honest I mostly just want to post anime pictures or make it about a specific anime each day. But comment and let me know what you think. Also let me know what you thought of my day today.

Since today is my birthday I decided to make this post about my top 5 anime that always put a smile on my face.

1. Lucky Star!

This is one anime that can always make me laugh and also just puts me in a good mood!

2. Ouran High School Host Club!

At first I didn’t know what to make of this show but then once I got into it I was hooked!!!

3. Shin-Chan!

Okay enough said this show is like a combination of Family Guy and South Park so why wouldn’t that make me smile!

4. Itazura Na Kiss!

So while this show does have quite a bit of drama it is a very sweet show! Plus I really felt for the female lead in this show.

5. Peach Girl!

The reason why I really liked Peach Gurk and it made me smile so much is because I really related to Momo. Plus it has a happy ending that made me smile from ear to ear!
